I have a few questions. Please be patient with me: 1. What bike are you using? 2. What app is that on your phone? What does it do? 3. What kind of bell is that?
Hello Francis! Thank you for taking the time to watch my video. 1. The bike is a 2018 Santa Cruz Bronson 2. Phone app is Strava 3. The Bell is a CBW Awareness Bell.
@@loopedoutmtb3458 - Thank you for the info! I like the bell, haha! Is it loud enough to give advance warning to the hikers ? I mean, I didn't really see them respond/move to the side when you were using the bell.
Great video, I'm thinking of riding up, I just remember cyclists suffering when I used to hike the loop. The whole time I was wondering why you went up to the right, too rutted and loose. The end was the best!! People acting like rules are merely suggestions.
@@riveroflife1356 I’ve ridden the top probably 30+ times and Marshall hundreds of times. Doing all of it at once is physically tough but pretty boring imo. If I want a good ride I’d rather ride skyline - Troy Lee trail or Outlaw at Hulda.
@@loopedoutmtb3458 I've just started riding bike 1 and half years, still learning and practicing. I guess you also live in La Verne/Claremont? Probably I can ride with you and learn. 😃
@@riveroflife1356 You're doing good if you can manage a big ride from Oak mesa park to Potato. That's a tough climb! I don't know if you'll learn anything from me I'm a senior citizen but I'll ride with anyone.

@@francisarellano918 It's definitely loud. I believe it's effective most of the time.
@@loopedoutmtb3458 - Thank you! I just bought a bike after a loooooooong time off the saddle. Can't wait to get back!
@@loopedoutmtb3458 - I had to come back here to ask another question lol! What phone mount are you using?

@@loopedoutmtb3458 - Oops, just saw this after posting my question in our thread. Thanks!
To be honest, it’s a little bit boring here on the loop, I like riding from Marshall Canyon to potato Mt, views are nicer.
Agreed. I only use the loop for a quick cardio sprint. Oak mesa park to Potato is tough for me.
@@loopedoutmtb3458 just ride on it and you'll get use to it. 😃
