High budget vs lower budget R34 GTR Pros and Cons

Hello everybody. As an exporter in Japan, dealing with various clients with various demands, I have learned plenty about cars that may be able to help other people who are nervous about importing a car themselves or just want a little bit more knowledge or insight. In this video I compare a 2002 Nissan Skyline R34 GTR Vspec2 in bayside blue to a 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GTR base grade. The Vspec2 has an extremely higher price point versus the silver base grade that was on the lower end of the GTR scale. Is it worth the potential issues to save money in the long run? Both of these cars are fairly stock. Both have seen snow. Both have signs of rust in different ways. I explain some differences between the Vspec2 and base grade. This base grade actually has the brembo rear brakes as well! Though I kind of rambled I am more than happy to help or explain in any way possible so please leave som feedback!

The stuts are known issues, sealed from the top, not sealed underneith.

Its crazy how i see a lot of vpecs for sale more then base grade.

It’s because more were ordered when they were brand new cars because the difference in price wasn’t so bad. The ratio is way more for Vspec.

I seen the trunk lid on blue vspec had a carbon fiber looking handle built into it??? Am i right?

No. That car has a carbon fiber trim around the brake light. The client hates it but I’m afraid to take it off
