- Organized by GT-R Magazine, R’s Meeting has become one of the largest gatherings of Skyline GT-Rs in Japan, mixing the best tuner demo cars with an insane amount of privately owned Rs of every generation. It’s always awesome to see new parts for the RB being unveiled like the new HKS carbon piping and airbox kit, not to mention amazing creations like the two new BBL cars. The event is officially backed by Nissan and Nismo who brought out cool stuff like the CRS R32/33/34 trio, the new Nismo R35 and even a Nismo Z.

As a GTR fan, this is easily the best content that you have put out Dino, so many amazing GTR builds. The HKS Zero R is such a sight to behold, looking forward to the BBL R34 feature video!
Love that trispoke Advan R35. Man, it's the R33 that does it for me. Don't get me wrong, R32, R34, and R35 are awesome but the R33 just appeals so much to me. For me, it's in between that subdued design and aggression. A lot of people don't like it but I love it!
I'm the same, visually a perfect blend of subtle curves and seemingly controlled aggression. R33 all the way baby! 😍

What an amazing episode! Thanks so much for the detailed look at this event. It's been years that I've seen it in photos, etc. but this is the first time I could actually see what happens from your perspective. Great to see some of them still heavily modified despite how the prices have increased.

Wow that’s a lot of GTR’s out there in Fuji speedway. By the way Dino, here are my observations in your video: it seems to me that some of the Skyline GTR owners are going towards restomods and some are keeping it oem and also some of them I notice have aftermarket body kits and wheels from the 90’s which to me looks like a period correct. One thing that surprise me is the Built By Legends in which they already have their own version of R34 being built by them and I wonder what kind of power does the BBL R34 made? It feels like yesterday when I saw their own version of R32 and R33 being featured on speedhunters. Again nice content Dino and I also look forward to see the restoration progress of your own 34 here in your channel.
I’ll be doing a separate video on the BBL cars but the engine is the same as the R33 I featured earlier this year 👍🏻

Hey Dino, considering how important Drag Racing was to Tuner's in Japan back in the day is there any interest in constructing a Proper Drag Strip these days?
Such a shame that its died after the few Drag Strips they had closed down.

Yeah true pity but realistically the West had the Japanese beat pretty quickly and I guess people no longer had bubble period money to dump into their cars

Yep it stared as a limited run for tuners and good customers willing to spend the money. They still make them in batches and they always sell out

the red MCR R34 was sold to a private owner who fortunately continues to share it with the world, unless you meant Koboyashi's newer silver one
that blue "Z-tune" R34 isn't actually a GT-R, recently saw it in a feature video. lots of one-off custom work done to it.

36:02 ahh, Jing Techno Engineering's "J Spec" R34, which a few people confused it with the 1 of 1 J Tune in Sammit's vid 😅
Is it really naturally aspirated 3 liter? How much power do they make? I remember a yellow RB 300ZX on youtube and instagram that had huge money spent on it to rev to like 10000RPM, and in the end owner was disappointed with the power said he will have to build a whole new engine.

Street cars need radios. However since these are coming to the US, Japanese radios don't work.
there re few rare edition of the Rx8 i havent seen ever lots of them are JP only .. like the one with the crazy top speed if you ever find any you should film them

I was todays years old when I realized that visually the 35 is 🤮 & 32 is 😍.
So the blue R34 at 9:00 has an actual Z2 RB engine which is only found on the unicorn Z tune along with some Ztune parts, that engine must have been quite hefty❤.
I have not idea what that Global Auto car was all about
The Interspeeds on the Abflug R33 were made by Hayashi Racing so technically the company still exists but I guess the Interspeed brand doesn’t 😄
Dino I'm curious, I love the GTR content but it has me wondering, is there such a devoted group for the Supras? It seems it's not as popular of a car overseas
