Khenpo Guru clarifies the evolution of Buddhism from Hinayana, 4 Noble Truths to Mahayana and Vajrayana. An exposition of the Nine Yanas was also given.
Khenchen Tsewang Gyatso Rinpoche is a distinguished lama of the Nyingma tradition and one of the 3 Khenchens (Great Abbots) overseeing education at Ngagyur Nyingma Institute of Namdroling Monastery in Bylakkuppe. He received recognition from His Holiness Dalai Lama for his Buddhist scholarship during his studies at the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarnath. He received all the major lineage transmissions of the Nyingma tradition from HH Dudjom Rinpoche, HH Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and HH Penor Rinpoche. Among his students, he is affectionately known as "Khenpo Guru".
