Ajahn Brahmali is so inspiring...sadhu, sadhu, sadhu. Such a good dhamma talk in showing how very relevant the Buddha's teachings are today. I had never heard of the term "present bias" but see that it is, unfortunately, very real. In this talk, Ajahn explains how it can interfere with our ability to hear and understand how the dhamma is so very relevant to the human condition, today and always.

Thank you so much Bhante and BGF 🙏
I find brilliant and significative that idea about other religions starting as a small community thing, and have that "exclusivity" notch, "the chosen ones" and such... Buddhism in the other hand is universal, for all beings, from the very beginning!
    Plus zero proselitism
