Просмотров 9421 день назад
BGF has always aspired to have a Saririka Stupa at the apex of the building as a source of inspiration for devotees practising at BGF, and to renovate the 3rd floor to host more Dhamma activities for the benefit of the community. With patience and devotion, the building committee overcame various challenges, especially during the pandemic, to bring this project to fruition in 2022. The Gem Stup...

Inspiring & beautiful hymn with melodious voices and soothing music. Sadhu (3x)! However, please kindly take note and make amendments to the spelling errors and missing word in written words spoken ("Refuge" instead of "Refugee") at 2.55, 2.56, (missing word "no" in the line "And _ Other will there be") at 2.57 and ("Refuge" instead of "Refugee") at 3.00, 3.08. TQ with metta 🙏😊
Same comments are in Mahaparinibbana sutta. You are right, the story it is not.
Beautiful song. Subtitle spelling error where "Refuge" is wrongly spelt as "Refugee." Also the word "No" is missing in line "And Other will there be." Kindly amend if possible. Pranam.
🙏🙏🙏
Sadhu (3x)🙏🙏🙏
Thank you very much for these videos 🙏 I just want to point out a technical issue that the playlist is in reverse order. It starts with day 9 and ends with day 1. It would be nice if they could be ordered from day 1 to day 9 so the videos can autoplay in the order that Ajahn Brahmali taught the lessons.

Bhante, thank you for sharing, anumodana.
Ajahn mentions monks using Botox. I actually know a Pali 9 monk who does use Botox and also uses hair removal cream for his body. Obviously it is not common knowledge. It causes one to question their understanding of the Dhamma even though they are highly respected as “scholars”.
Please upload more of Dr Alvin's talk. A very healing talk❤
Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice.
🙏🙏🙏Good advise, Bhante!
If anyone can get in touch with Ajahn Brahmali, please tell him to speak on the 31 realms of existence. I would love to hear a deep dive from him. Thanks for all the videos BGF, I hope to visit you guys in the future.
Your notifications are unavailable, i have to keep checking in .... Thanks 🤤 (om ah hung vajra pemi siddhi hung... wrong school? 😮🤣👉🏻🙏🏻👈🏻)
Thank you to Ajahn Brahmali and Buddhist Gem Fellowship.🙏🏻

Does anyone know the sutta where the Buddha tricks Ananda with the girls from the heaven realm? At 95:00.
Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu
Sadhu (3x)
Mahayana and Tibetan versions arose 500 years and 1000 years respectively after Buddha Parinibbana. That is when the true dhamma gets adulterated.
At 9:00, I'm not sure where the account of the Buddha spending 7 weeks came from. The Buddha didn't spend 49 days under the Bodhi tree right after His enlightenment. In Mahavagga chapter 1, it was recorded that the Buddha moved to different tree every 7 days. It isn't clear if He moved 7 times to constitute 7 weeks too.
This is Loni Baur, formerly Heng Yin. You did a beautiful job of covering my song. Thank you.
It's great to hear from you, Ayya. I used to read some of the translations from DRBA. I'm sure some of the translations were done by you. Thank you, Ayya

Arogya, infatuation with health, yobbana, infatuation with youth, Jivita, infatuation with life.

@@BuddhistGemFellowship1 thank you very much.🙏🏻
Thank you so much Bhante and BGF 🙏 I find brilliant and significative that idea about other religions starting as a small community thing, and have that "exclusivity" notch, "the chosen ones" and such... Buddhism in the other hand is universal, for all beings, from the very beginning! Plus zero proselitism
Wasnt there a 'power of kindness' dhamma talk that ajahn brahmali was supposed to have had recorded by now? 😊
brilliant

An intention (Chethana) is like a decision or a destination.
The volitional/intentional formations called Sanskara make many mental factors, including a like called Chanda/choice, but the meaning of the word Sanskara is not a choice (a like). The people who translate the Pali words would need to study the process of mental factors and other truths mentioned in Abhi(higher/extra)dhamma Pitaka and commentaries to translate them correctly.🙏
The Mandala Behind The Buddha Statue Looks Like A Fancy Oreo!! Random Person; How Are You? Buddhist; *Psychologically And Emotionally Dying Inside* Smiles And Says; I'm Fine.. No Actually; I'm Really Really Good! I think we should stop asking people in general how they are, because most people do not care. They do not want to hear something negative so we are forced to lie. If our friends or workmates ask.. we are now getting as scared to tell them as we were 50years ago.. Not just due to judgement, but that they will tell everyone else behind our backs and online (meaning almost everyone we know.) we cant talk to anyone in general through fear of being drugged, institutionalised, parasites from the system interfering trying to control our assets, children, and lives.. Even Monastaries are riddled with parasites and Nunaries jealous hateful users. I think the term how are you, is becoming dangerous. So sad for us all. Such a waste, all the efforts of great Masters, activists and so many others.. to just end up with this.. Manipulative, sterile and drug ruined existence, where the system around the world is being used to destroy any kind, decent, straight, person for any reason. Being kind is getting us killed, we need some new teachings.
