I am SO grateful for this new day! It is now 2,088 days since they removed a tumour in my colon and I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer……..sadly, until I listened to this video, I had forgotten just how lucky I am to be alive on this day. So today I am announcing to the world how grateful I am for all of those days I’ve had, for reaching the age of 71 which I never thought I would, and most importantly, for all of the amazing things I’ve done and the joy I’ve experienced in all of those days. Thank you for this wake-up call. I am at peace with myself as I am and the world as it is, and I will be grateful for each new day from now on. I AM grateful for THIS new day today ❤️ Edit: Sept 4 - another 30 days and I’ve just got a new puppy, so another new journey is just beginning! Won’t be able to sleep late any more, or give in to laziness - she’ll keep me on my toes 😂 Fast approaching the 6 year milestone on 8th November - that will be Day 2,191 - me and the puppy are thriving 🐶🥰 and I’m still grateful, and looking forward to all the days still to come ❤️
@@alanfair6972 thank you Alan - I truly believe in the body’s innate wisdom and it’s ability to heal itself - and this is a gift everyone possesses… we’re born with it, I just didn’t know this for 66 years of my life. I know it now, and hopefully I can inspire younger people to become aware of this much earlier than I did. I’m not cured - I’ve had breast cancer, then colon cancer that spread to my lung, but my body is healed and I am no longer creating an environment in which cancer can thrive - poor diet, lack of exercise and, worst of all, negative mindset. On reflection, I’ve been practicing these 5 principles for the last 5 years, I just didn’t realise it. I hope sharing this might inspire anyone who is struggling. It’s all about self-care and being true to yourself, which is why acceptance is so important. I finally accept myself as I am, and now I can can accept everyone as they are, and the world as it is.
