That Apple find is really cool, but… how is it "rare"? It's an Apple //c. It's not a MacBook-it's not even in the Macintosh line of computers-it's not even a "laptop". Still… fun find.
Ya know... after y'all finish search the whole river, y'all should seriously consider having like a meet up or something at that location to clean that trash up. Between you both, I'm sure y'all have enough subs that would be willing to come out and help, and not alot of gear is needed since the water is shallow. Super cool, but super disappointing to see how much junk is dumped in such a beautiful location. There could of once been beautiful fish in that area that eventually died off due to it becoming uninhabitable. Y'all should consider it!
I love when RUclips recommends old videos I haven't seen yet! Like most people I found your channel through DALLMYD. Your content is just as good as Jakes! Tristen isn't far behind you either. Keep collaborating with each other! We all love seeing the 3 of you in the same video
At first I thought you typed apple LLC, and I thought to my self " I don't think that's a thing." But then I realized that it was RUclips's font being confusing with L's and i's.
Sawfishes, also known as carpenter sharks, are a family of rays characterized by a long, narrow, flattened rostrum, or nose extension, lined with sharp transverse teeth, arranged in a way that resembles a saw
You and dallymyd made me and my 10 year old son start exploring creeks and river.. we would put put cement and yes thats what I said in are boots.. never know now.. makes me sick cause im only 36 and its sad you cant walk in a creek, stream, nor river without possibly stepping on something that can just screw your life up for good.. just wish people would see that we need are streams and rivers.. #getitrightpeople
Wikipedia of Frank Morris right here The June 1962 Alcatraz escape attempt was an escape attempt from Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary successfully carried out by inmates Frank Morris, John Anglin, and Clarence Anglin. Behind the prisoners' cells in Cell Block B (where the escapees were interned) was an unguarded 3-foot (0.91 m) wide utility corridor. The prisoners chiselled away the moisture-damaged concrete from around an air vent leading to this corridor, using tools such as a metal spoon soldered with silver from a dime and an electric drill improvised from a stolen vacuum cleaner motor. The noise was disguised by accordions played during music hour, and the progress was concealed by false walls which, in the dark recesses of the cells, fooled the guards.[2] The escape route led up through a fan vent; the prisoners removed the fan and motor, replacing them with a steel grill and leaving a shaft large enough for a prisoner to enter. Stealing a carborundum abrasive cord from the prison workshop, the prisoners then removed the rivets from the grill. In their beds, they placed papier-mâché dummies made with human hair stolen from the barber shop. The escapees also constructed an inflatable raft over many weeks from over 50 stolen raincoats, which they prepared on the top of the cellblock, concealed from the guards by sheets which had been put up over the sides. Late on the night of June 11, the three inmates tucked heads made out of soap wax resembling their own likenesses into their beds, broke out of the main prison building via an unused utility corridor, and departed from Alcatraz Island aboard an improvised inflatable raft to an uncertain fate.
Yeah, that Macbook is a good find. A shame it won't work. When down in NC I worked for a durable medical wholesale place that bought used computer items and among the antique items were a Mac 1 & 2's. A guy actually came in and got one every so often to restore and then donated it to a local school he said, which was kewl. I think the bag looked pretty good on BIG Boy's arm as it swayed to and fro. LOL Interesting finds, to be sure.
Y'all make me feel old for sure. They didn't even have laptops (commercially available) back then. That's just the base, then you got your big ol' 20lb. crt monitor that goes on top. Takes me back to the Reader Rabbit and Oregon Trail games. Love your videos!
I love it. It’s kinda funny that what you call a CD player was really a floppy disc drive haha. Way before your time. And the train honk, awesome. Great vid. 💜💜
You can tell I’m a crafter, you picked up the light guard and my first thought was I could turn that into a really cool bug! 😂 Regarding the old Apple, I believe that’s a floppy disc slot, not CD.
Thank you I could not remember if 8-inch floppies were still around or not. The only time I heard of them was when I took a history of computers thru the mail course. That was in 1997.
That is true, I think they do still use floppys for government/ military purposes. Because it's more secure than using computers with internet access if they use floppy's to store things like launch codes or whatnot.
Hey Brandon, now you've got a microwave for your treasure boat and a mac too, wow that's gonna be the most equipped treasure boat out there lol. I loved this video and you two together are the best comedy duo I know
haha :) wow never seen so many dumped off phone would love to know the story of why maybe it is .. disposible ones dealers ? maybe one off use for someone to do a hit or kidnappers demands (non traceable lol) ?
No, absolutely no one would pay anything above scrap value for it because it more than likely is completely destroyed. Also that's a full computer, not just a keyboard, it's an apple 2c. Not as well known as the 2e, but still great for it's time.
Watching right now just over 4min in I hope you guys clean up some of the garbage I have started a small group of people in my town to clean up rivers and highways all because of you and your buddy's. (Thanks for inspiring me) We recycle everything we can and return items to owners if possible. JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW YOU ARE AWESOME and I hope you and your buddy's keep up the good work. And again just another big thanks for the inspiration.
What a great fun video finding the old computer is awesome. It's amazing what you will find in those feeder creeks you got to remember they go through a lot of there is they carry a lot of stuff. Once again great video sure enjoy this so keep them coming
I would love to see you guys completely clean up this creek and help turn it around. Hope to see more vids from this location. Keep up the great work and be careful, this location looks sketchy!
The Macintosh Portable is a laptop designed, manufactured and sold by Apple Computer, Inc. from September 1989 to October 1991. It is the first battery-powered Macintosh, which garnered significant excitement from critics, but sales to customers were quite low. It featured a fast, sharp, and expensive black and white active matrix LCD screen in a hinged design that covered the keyboard when the machine was not in use. The Portable was one of the early consumer laptops to employ an active matrix panel, and only the most expensive of the initial PowerBook line, the PowerBook 170, used one, due to the high cost. The cursor pointing function was handled by a built-in trackball that could be removed and located on either side of the keyboard. It used expensive SRAM in an effort to maximize battery life and to provide an "instant on" low power sleep mode. The machine was designed to be high-performance, at the cost of price and weight. No CD-ROM used, that was a Floppy drive. Before your time, I imagine. I am old enough to remember punch card computing systems and the IBM came out with a digital typewriter basically was more for document storage, then came Tandy 99 with cassette tape storage, then Commodore, Then Commodore 64, Then Apple, and on and on.
I know you want to have something interesting as title and thumbnail to make people want to click on your video... but it just ruins the element of surprise. :( I like to be SHOCKED! But great video man! Love when y'all get super excited, yalls friendship is hilarious to watch.
Hey, you need to change your description/info blurb to “subscribe and hep me reach 500 thousand...” Congrats on reaching 400k!! Loved this video so much! You and Jacob are so much fun to watch. Looking forward to Part 2!! Maybe you guys could hold a viewer meet and clean day.
"MacBook" was actually a desktop (the screen/monitor would look like one of the old tvs - before flat screens were around and was the same color as the bottom half- that beige off white color- I remember playing on one of those as a toddler- my parents refused to get a new computer until around 2000 because in the 80s before I was around those things cost a mint); companies didn't have laptops until the 90s; the slot you said was for a cd was actually a floppy disk drive 😂😂😂 which some desktops still have slots for (in addition to USB ports and cd drive- I've used floppy disks to code before on a desktop). Keep up the great work!
Wow! I just learnt that Macs used to have the rainbow logo, I came across one other day when I was looking for the logo for one of my videos but didn’t realise it was a thing! Lol. Thank you!!! ❤️🙌 Such a good find guys! Love these treasure hunts!!! 😍❤️🔥😂😁🙏😈😘 xxx
It's so sad to see how the things that seem to run our lives - the latest phones, tvs, comp etc - end up in the rivers and do so much harm. Thank you guys for making these videos , they are both entertaining and informative
I wonder how that creek got so horribly polluted, I'm glad you guys could clean it up a little. Also, amazing finds guys! That mac book looks older than the computers I used in kindergarten some 16 years ago.
This is the only 2nd video of yours that I've watched, but I really like your energy and so far, your content seems really cool. I'm definitely a new subscriber 😊
That's no Macbook, or even a laptop. The first Macbooks came out in 2006. That's 2 DECADES older. It's an Apple IIc desktop computer, circa 1984 (The same year the first actual Macintosh was introduced). And it had a 5.25-inch floppy drive in it. So sad to see a vintage Apple computer in that state, but it's cool you found it. :) "and zero dignity." Ahaha. Cracked me up.

Little did they know this would lead to find of a real gun...

You should get a group of friends together and clean up that river
“That’s a microwave” hahaha

JoJo Ro how long did you take to type that
Make another video in that creek it's awesome. Keep making good videos.
wasn't frank Morris the person who escaped Alcatraz

Indeed, lol 4:14 .
It looks like a prehistoric tech market there 😊 Cool video!

Hi love your videos Brandon
I love it. It’s kinda funny that what you call a CD player was really a floppy disc drive haha. Way before your time. And the train honk, awesome. Great vid. 💜💜
you guys seem to be the most pure people on youtube. you guys have the cleanest humor and hardly cuss and it makes me sooo happy
You can tell I’m a crafter, you picked up the light guard and my first thought was I could turn that into a really cool bug! 😂 Regarding the old Apple, I believe that’s a floppy disc slot, not CD.
thats not for a cd its for a floppy disc
It's also not a Macbook but it's an "Apple IIc "" ;-))
i think i still have some, whant to play choplifter?
Maybe a Apple 1 or 2
Kristin Perdomo I was looking to see if anyone caught that. It’s mind blowing the things people under 30 haven’t seen or used during their life time.
he also couldn't wrap his mid around the fact that it is a desktop, not a laptop.
I do think you are missing the monitor. What you were calling a cd player is 5.25 floppy drive or maybe even an 8.25 floppy drive.
Thank you I could not remember if 8-inch floppies were still around or not. The only time I heard of them was when I took a history of computers thru the mail course. That was in 1997.

Its cringy because they are calling it a Macbook PRO! and its a 5 inch floppy
It’s 3.5 inch I believe
it is/was a 5.25 floppy.

I bet hipsters will pay a fortune for that old apple key board found in a creek.

"and zero dignity." Ahaha. Cracked me up.
Keep doing videos like this
