5:52 Well to be fair, there's a lot of alleged predator behavior by Elvis (I think he actually married a teenager), there was actually some controversy regarding his biopic because it completely ignored that aspect of Elvis.
Yes, he met his future wife when she was a minor. And, like R Kelly, the parents were fine with a grown, wealthy & influential man setting his sights on their daughter. They were "pen pals" and corresponded regularly until she reach the age of...maturity...and got married a little later. But we're not supposed to know about or talk about those things, for some reason. Celine Dion's hudband did the same with her, when she was young & malleable. And even the uniquely talented David Bowie has a very dark part of his history involving a SA situation. But they don't want people to bring up those things because deviancy and predation is only reserved to be a driving force behind people who havr cultural connections to hip hop and such. Remember how nobody knew about Danny Masterson's grape conviction until months after it happened? Or the fact that they gave Allison Mack a sweetheart deal for her recruitment in that cult (NXVIM)? It's so much of that stuff but they insulate and protect folks who do that...and will restrict you, in every possible way, if you do talk about it.

Why are all you journalists using the term mole incorrectly, that term would indicate that this person is someone within the camp.
Anyway, it's my opinion that Alvarez is denying the hush money through inference. You can say things without explicitly saying them - when you say "and now i'm being accused of this ridiculous thing" you are implicitly stating it's false by how absurd the notion of it is. The point of clarity to say "By the way, it is not true" is redundant or else you simply would not address the accusation in the first place. Some things don't merit a response, and acknowledgement itself is not an admission of guilt. The ambiguity is only there to be read into because we're so enveloped in the controversy that we want there to be more layers to the story than there actually are, and would rather keep asking a hundred questions than accept boring unsatisfactory answer that he has nothing to do with this beef, which is clearly the point he was making - which would include any alleged hush money.
