Levels to a break down, I'm sorry but F a AK man was on 1 side but is rethinking his alliance. This coverage is the most culturally appropriate imo. Keep up the good work king. Drake dropped the ball on this one and came to the ring way over confident.

K Dot AND The Company Man dropping regular videos in 2024?! What a time to be alive! (Drake pun intended!)
hahahah!
@@Brickbrickbrickinthewall This is gold, you’re a day one lol
@@TheCompanyManGlad to see your content on my feed on a regular basis!
@@Brickbrickbrickinthewall I GOT A THEME SONG NOW! Anything is possible with A.I.
@@TatendaZiyambi Yeah me too. I'm enjoying it.
It’s not just the slave line. Drake had a line in family matters that said
“Weekend music getting played in all the spots where boys got a little more pride/ that’s why all your friends dipping to Atlanta payin just to find a tour guide”
Kendrick is also flipping that. You can’t run to a city for a check then shit on that same city for the demographic that lives there. Specifically when it’s primarily black. You gotta remember Kendrick speaks openly about his aunt who is apart of the lgbqt community, again. Disrespecting the culture of a city.
Yeah, but Kendrick claimed to be an Israelite as well. Support of LGBT anything is abominable to God. So is calling your brother, according to the Bible, a colonizer when you know scripturally he's your brother by way of his father.
The way that Kendrick is painting pictures and angles to land disses, then contradicting those same angles to land more effective disses is the only thing close to as unsettling as his accusations.
I'm not supporting Drake. If the accusations are true, then he should be brought down. But, for me, Kendrick's credibility is shaky enough that much of what he's saying should be looked into for accuracy before claiming that he feels any type of way, just because he says or implies it.
@@J-Huethat’s where your mistaken you claim that support of lgbt is abominable to god. That is your claim not gods I’m not even sure if you have the right god in the first place. What if Hindus got it right??? But nice try wanting to get god in the convo when none of this has anything to do with religion. Since you want to talk about then let’s talk about your priests and what they are being accused of???? That is much more of an abomination then any lgbt claim!!!
@@J-Hueisn't Kendrick's whole thing about his LGBTQ family member the fact that he's had to wrestle with himself and his beliefs and come to terms with all that?
Seems like he's abandoning at least some of the most toxic parts of his religion to be a better person.

Kendrick was so calculated he used a beat from Alchemist so people can’t claim it’s about race.
That's hilarious. I didn't think about that.
On genius 6:16 in LA is labeled as produced by jack antonoff too which is very funny if true lol
That might be the most famous Alchemist beat of all time now when you think about it. And that says a lot since it’s Alchemist

@@BlackGodKing-oi2grDamn I didn’t think about that!!!
You people were asking kendrick to respond quicker.. now people are complaining its happening too quick... "You can't please everybody" ~ Kendrick Lamar
😂
And they wanted all the smoke, gloves off.... and now they sittin there lack jawed 🤣
K-Dot got youtubers and Drake's ghostwriters working overtime
I thought 'Monkey Suit Dennis" would be the worst thing said about Drake's dad in a rap.
Then Kendrick rapped "the nerve of you Dennis"
Like damn, he can't catch a break.
😂😂😂
Shakespearean Shakedown.
That's the title of the documentary on this beef when we look at it retrospectively
It's poetic.
At this point, Drake's corpse is just being curbstomped to the rhythm of a Too $hort instrumental 😂. There is just no coming back from this, ever. We have all witnessed the felling of a 'giant'. What a fucking comeback for Hip-Hop.
They're pushing Drake over to Kid Rock territory.
Yoo 😅@@TheCompanyMan
😂😂😂😂
The bigger they are, the harder they fall.
I think Kendrick Lamar listen to what Lupe Fiasco was saying in the past few weeks and Lupe was saying Drake is a better rapper than Kendrick and that Kendrick Lamar lacks entendres and punchlines. I love Lupe, but his opinions don’t age well and it’s blowing up in his face.
He has tried sh**ting on KDot for a while- it’s like he can’t seem to grasp that he ain’t the only extremely gifted, talented rap artist…it’s beyond weird.
It's just a pleasure to have you back with breakdowns. Hunt is definitely my top hip-hop channels since the hiphop dx days
Man Kendrick really breathing new life into hip hop with how everyone is hyped and talking about this master crafted takedown
It's a shakespearean shakedown.
drake says he is white, then black, calls himself champagne (french) papi (spanish), says he looks like yousuf and hamza. dude really doesnt have a cultural cache to binge on.
That's wild. I hadn't thought about that.
😂😂😂😂
As a Jewish guy myself, it's frustrating. Like it or not (and I don't like it), Drake's a Jewish celebrity, and it seems like he wants to be part of every culture except for ours.
@@whym6438damn, I actually hadn't thought about that
drake stans are talk about how unreplayable Not Like Us is and it just goes to show they don't want to let anyone have a danceable diss in this beef besides drake. But like how can you not bounce to this DJ Mustard beat.
This one's outta here. The whole west coast will be on this heavy.
@@TheCompanyManthey're apparently bumping it in NYC clubs too.
@@TheCompanyMan Not only the west Coast. There are videos of clubs in New York, DC, Texas with cowboy hats and London. I can’t explain why that song hit the way it did. Maybe after several very dark songs this song gave relief even those serious. The beat with Kendrick flows and lyrics were just perfect.
The idea that Not Like Us is anything but a banger is weapons-grade cope.
K. Dot got people c and b walking and they not even crips or bloodz 😂😂
The part that stings the most for me is that Drake asked for this. He was begging for triple entendres and for Kendrick drop. This is epitome of be careful what you ask for.
This isn't about Drake. It's about not accepting whatever manufactured artist the corporate machines try to shove down our throats. The people have spoken.
They Calling Kung fu Kenny “Nardwuar Lamar” now! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
💀
@@TheCompanyMan also Preme wrote Family Matters for Drake! No one wants to speak on that. Fantano had the heart to wake that up. How is this allowed?
Kendrick doesn’t just hate drake he hates the idea of drake of what he represents in the music industry and he wants to tear that archetype down so there can never be another drake in the industry
These are some of the best bars Kendrick Lamar ever spit in his entire career this multi entendres and punch lines that’s so layered it’s crazy. He topped rigormortis
Yeah, I also feel like he's beefing with allegations that he's not a top tier lyricist.
@@TheCompanyMan facts 100%
Kendrick ain’t letting us live our lives rn

It's all happening!
Summer finna be LIT 🔥
Kendrick single handedly made a case for the Return of Rap- as a political, spiritual, philosophical, psychological cultural source of strength, resistance and community. This has reopened the conversation around Blackness- it IS a political position fam! Drake ain’t about it.
Kendrick breaking Drake made Justin break his video format lol
I had no choice. the story was moving too fast. Gotta adjust before I turn to dust.
@@TheCompanyMan bar 🔥
There’s something so beautiful about the way Kendrick was clearly cooking this for at least a decade, and he finally did it with The Pop Out.
There’s so much beauty in vindication. There’s so much beauty in reclamation.
Agreed. Well said.
Yesssss❤🎉
Never have I ever thought I'll see a justin reaction. These are diabolical times.

100% agree, all positive. I fell off and haven't watched in a while. I'm back, Time to catch up.
@@TheCompanyManpretty great. More insights than most of the channels out there. Please stay active on RUclips for more updates for this surgical downfall of a superstar. There's a rumour that Kendrick will drop another one on Monday. I don't know tho
I predicted Kendrick’s Knock Out will be another hit Like That, I predicted he’d get a Dr.Dre instead he used YG’s famous producer who he said KDot ain’t like him
the scary part is he has so much more material ready to go.
The crazy part too is that Drake said on Family Matter said that Kendrick isn’t built like YG then he uses a DJ Mustard beat which is YG producer to make a hit, Kendrick is diabolical lol
I think Drake threw the shots at everyone else so he could maintain the impression that it was a 20v1.
Helps to look like the underdog.
Exactly. And that was another miscalculation.
turns out we didnt need the rap avengers...we just needed the wrong punch to land on kendrick
They did some necessary set up work though. Especially Rick Ross holding it down on IG. He's Kendrick's Akademiks or Adin Ross cause Kenny don't be online
"World Building" omg, absolutely yes. Crazy 🤯
Bro, used to watch your oooooold school videos with the albums behind you.... Best hip hop analysis in the industry. Great break down.
This track is going to have everyone screamin " A minnnorrr" this summer 😂
Kendrick didn't just say drake slept w/ Wayne's girl, HE said he did in a freestyle years ago.
I AM SO GLAD THAT YOU POINTED OUT THAT 'ALWAYS RAPPIN LIKE YOU BOUT TO GET THE SLAVES FREED' WAS A MISTAKE
I side-eyed that line and side-lined every reactor that laughed at it.
It felt weird as soon as I heard it. Then forcing the n word in to the song like an angsty white teenager.
I expected it to happen at some point. He would eventually get too mf comfortable
Kendrick hasn’t even gotten to the Houston stuff just yet. He hinted at some of it but he’s still got to it
I can’t wait for him to touch on that.
It's crazy how Kendrick is trending #2 with more views than Drake with less time.
That math isn't mathin RUclips
CRAZY.
Nah it’s mathing, Drake losing and numbers don’t lie. More people are checking for Kendrick than Drake. Does that make sense?
man so happy you dropped. things are moving fast and creators are having trouble keeping up haha
Especially creators like me who write more think pieces than anything. I'm gonna have to shift my style for this. This is easily the greatest rap beef of all time.
Drake cannot keep up, he gambled everything on family matters and even made a music video for it but Kendrick is only doing what Drake wanted, and that is to drop a record, be careful what you wish for
Drake's playing by pre-covid rules. Its a new world now.
No ghost can help Aubrey with those skeletons
I don't think this is just an album rollout. This is Kendrick trying to be Katt Williams and Hannibal Burress fused together while simultaneously telling us he's the greatest rapper of all time and more specifically proving once and for all he's a better musician than Drake in every conceivable way possible.
He said in euphoria this is not GoaT talk, because Lupe has been very loud about wanting to hop in if that's what the chat is. This is just hate.
@@theAttris
Kendrick has been flip flopping on a lot of his stances and narratives just to land a bar. It's tough to know what to trust with no concrete evidence and all of these guys having ties to unsavory people and sketchy behavior.
@@J-Huebrah what the hell you talking about DRAKE lost brah
@@theAttrisFiasco? Yeah he is the goat fr, but goddamn Kendrick firing on pure hate is beautiful

“weird at best” lol the saga of Audrey Graham.
elvis in his final form is crazy. if kendrick would have said that. damn
That's what he looks like to me.
Echo on the audio made this vid sound like a sermon, amen lol
hahaha
"drake is the final form of elvis because he get to say the n word" 😂 that line killed me! great break down!
Drake was buried by Joe Budden, Pusha T and now Kendrick. He only took a w against Meek.
That meek win looks more suspect as the years go by. Feels more like Granddad Gets In A Fight episode of The Boondocks.
By the way WOP is an acronym for "Want of Prosecution." Like you literally have to go through each line to get the true meaning. Genius
It was like 10 minutes after drake dropped 😂 kendrick is insane
Candyman Kendrick is a problem.
COMPANY MAN CHANGING WITH THE TIMES WITH THE BREAKING NEWS SEGMENT!!!!
ITS ALL HAPPENING
Kendrick has been relentless with this release schedule I don’t envy anyone trying to cover this in real time 😂
It feels like he's bleeding him, while he's still alive. That's the best way for me to describe it.
basically
Yup- copy that 👍🏽🫡‼️
Well he did say "Can I bleed him? Bet" so he's just making good on it
Lol feels like just last week drake was begging kendrick to respond, now he cant get him to stop lmao
You know Justin phased, because normally he would said "does drake deserve the smoke? I dont have the answers" lol he had the answers today.
Fr y dude. Drake gotta punch himself in the face!
Thank you for dropping! From the og breakdown to now your videos have gotten me into hip-hop. This is quite the historical moment, thank you for all the overtime work 🙏
That's awesome to hear, Ethan! Thank you for still tuning in. This is a fun time for hip hop. Greatest beef ever.
Kendrick’s poetry and hit making arguably solidify him as the greatest of all time after this battle. If ever the world saw a goat level performance that will be discussed in barber shops and college courses for the next 50 years, this was it. Great work Justin!!!! Shakespearean.
Thank you brother! GOAT KDOT.
So true
Justin, does Drake cancel his Oakland show in 2 weeks? What do you think?
I don't think so but it'll be fun watching the reels and tiktoks from people outside the venue.
Kdot absolutely killing drake
Not close.
Not sure, Drake can release a track unless he adresses an allegation. As for Americans, yes America the rest of the world feels you glorify slavery, and have monopolize the term slavery for your own history when it was a universal discompozing fact. Kendrick is a unique genius when it comes breaking down a rapper this is by far the greatest beef we've had probably ever, Drake is humbled by numbers because if he can't beat him in numbers he's lost. Even though views are so unusually spiked for surprise tracks.
BIGFAX
Yeezus it’s early Justin!
😂 ah man got so much love for this community
Im still working on the main piece looking at Kendrick's side of the beef but had to put some thoughts out about this track
"Elvis in his final form..." I am shook.
I’ve watched dozens of RUclipsrs talking about this subject and you have been the most concise. I’m a fan! Thank you
"final iteration of Elvis" 🔥🔥🔥
Drake is one more diss away from a tom McDonald feature lol
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
He’s about to do interviews on Fox News 😂
Cole apologized to the world...
...It's time for the world to apologize to Cole😌
😂
Kendrick took all his fans when he went pop one time on the damn album. 😂
No ones talking about Dot calling Drake an escort lol on some Meek Mill shit
Another brilliant and impromptu breakdown. Never looked at it from these angles
Pretty sure fantano has been locked in that room livestreaming for a week straight
Pusha destroyed that Adidas deal with Drake. How much money was lost there? Now Drake recently signed a $400m deal, I wonder if Kendrick is going to affect the ROI of that too.
That deal wont go nowhere most likely because that deal makes him an executive, & their kind sticks together if yk what I mean, but impact the ROI for the others yeah I hope so lol
Thank you for the sober analysis covering the nuance of the beef.
Great video as always man.
One thing I disagree with though. I don't think the "rapping like you trying to get the slaves freed" was dissing Kendrick for having a message. The idea of the verse was that he was presenting him as someone who's fake deep - that he presents himself as conscious but that he doesn't adhere to his own messages. But it was def a miscalculation to use that line when his own racial perspective/allegiance is being questioned
Exactly, Ketchums. I get what Drake was trying to say. But it's how he said that differs from "just a cause a nigga where kufi it don't mean that he bright. Cause you don't understand him it don't mean that he nice. It just means you don't understand all the bullshit that he writes." Those subtle differences and lack of connection with black american heritage sticks out like a green hat with an orange bill in situations like these. And all it did was add an easy set up for the most powerful part of "Not Like Us"
The Game 100 video he's dissing him for having a message.
Been waiting for this. I know you like putting in the work in your vids Justin and Kenny not even letting you get ANY rest lmao!
Fr tho I'm so glad you're back and can't wait for the Kendrick video, keep doing your thing my man it's needed more than ever
This one is light compared to my normal approach but I had to put something on it because the story is moving too fast!
Remember when kendrick said "smokin on top 5's, F that album, F that single, BURN THAT HARDRIVE"
We know whos hardrive he was talking about now 😂
Nah he was referring to deleting music in that line
The only thing I disagree with u is about Mr. Morale album. I LOVE it! The reason Cry Together is hard for u bc it seems from what I see ur a respectable Black Man. BUT, not ALL Black Women get treated with respect. That is one of my favorite songs on the album bc it reminds my husband and I of us at times and I listen to it OFTEN. Real Talk!! I know CRAZY!!! That is reality for so many of us Black Women and Black Men being disrespectful of each other. Peace & Blessings, Brother.
J Prince pulling him out of the Pusha T battle makes so much more sense now.
Gotta thank drake for taking this sacrificial ass beating so we get more kendrick music AND justin videos this year. God bless 🙌🏿
Kendrick is way up in this battle but the code switching thing isn’t very bad imo except for when Drake tries to act tough. Because that’s just too phony. It’s one of the reasons why I really hated the song “meltdown” on Travis Scott’s Utopia. The tough guy act on Drake is just too fake in my opinion. Is Kendrick ending this man’s career because tbh it’s kind looking like that lol.
Good line up! Trust me bro, we don't care if you repeat a couple of points in the detailed breakdown. You should do Quick and dirtys more often. We locked in

He did four in a week…. This is genuinely unreal
I’m all about Kendrick let’s say Drake has no daughter but gets another child “a girl” 🫣 I thought meet the grahams is the most disrespectful song ever, but the whole family. I used to have Hit Em Up most disrespectful, it’s still the best in terms quality and clubs
It's way up there for me too. The way he talks to Adonis and Denis is legendary.
It took one of the greatest rap beefs of all time time. Kendrick vs Drake!!!
It took all of this for us to get Justin Hunte to return! More videos?🙏

Yknow, the whole Kendrick and lupe beef has been going on for a while and before this shit I thought lupe would eat Kendrick alive but this has moved the needle solidly. It would still be pretty dumb for Kendrick to fire back at lupe but it might actually be a fun battle to watch
It would be INCREDIBLE to see. The narrative world building disrespect would be 🤯🤯

Food.... for..... Thought.🫡
At first I thought Drake was too big to fail. But could this be the start of the downfall of Drake? Kendrick is calling out people who stand next to Drake and half of the industry already doesn't fuck with him. We all know Drake stays relevant due to his collaborators. I see this doing serious damage to Drake's career.
Listen, Drake couldn't even handle Bill Sporck. He went after Meek as easy target and Pusha because he undervalued him
The meek battle is looking super suspect in restrospect.
Shakespearean shakedown U nailed that ish.
...gets to end of the first draft.

exactly what happened. Just had to go quick n dirty and keep it pushing.
J. Cole, Joyner Lucas, and even G-Eazy never caught smoke like this. They're all biracial. So yeah, this isn't about race, this about Drake being the biggest culture vulture in rap history and he deserves all the smoke he's getting.
I think meet the grahams was the best lyrical breakdown and to me euphoria was the best sounding track I’m not gonna lie I am a Kendrick fan and not Drake fan but family ties iiis haaaaard as a song not gone lie
"Kendrick just opened his mouth. Someone go hand him a grammy right now" is hilarioius! Should've started the whole track with that.
I know its pretty much impossible to give different breakdowns on these disses but always love your more mature compare and contrast of everything. 👍🏻 for the content.
Im Dominican, and see Drake gifting on black and latinos way before this happened.
people saying that "they're ganging up" on Drake, when this is just a culmination of events is funny af
