Programmer here; for some projects I've worked on (and some hobby projects), we had our build date set to the intended release date rather than the actual date of compilation. "Build date" is a misnomer, but it made sense internally 😅.

@e195087 Just Blood on the Sand. I actually had a video planned years ago (in my Minecraft hacking era) to post a video about it but I never ended up finishing it then life hit. I can definitely look back into BotS and Bulletproof as well!

7:48 the build date refers to the compilation date of the rom itself, also don't forget it takes time to print a ton of copies so there isn't a shortage at the set laucnh date, what's more surprising is how close to the realase date that guold is, only 5 days of printing DVDs before release

I actually hope Bandai Namco has some big plans for a Pac-Man World 2 remake because I actually want more than just a remake, I actually want to fight Wormwood in the console version as well as explore those unused forest levels. Techinally, experience tons of stuff that were from the concept art, getting a proper Pac-Village level would be more interesting for me than the one we ended up.
