Tool - Opiate ft. Layne Staley (1993, Big Mele, Kualoa Ranch Hawaii) - Remixed w/ Clearer Audio

Live in 1993, one of (I believe) four times Layne joined Tool to perform Opiate, and the most memorable due to the great concert footage that we have of it.*
I take no credit for the origins of the audio within this video. It was obtained from a file of Tool's entire set from that show. I cleaned up the audio a bit- I enhanced and amplified some parts, and tweaked the vocals a little to try to make them more audible, and so they didn't mesh so much when Layne comes in. Two of the most amazing vocalists from that time period... I just wish Maynard didn't dominate the microphone time in all of these guest appearances. This one is probably the best of 'em.
*I did want to pair the audio I cleaned up with the video that is facing straight ahead (there are two angles of the show, I think), but it's just too much of a task to take on at the moment.... maybe down the road! Or if someone else would like to, feel free to use the audio and do so!!!
The photos are from that performance. I like that Layne's wearing an STP shirt while performing Opiate on stage with Tool. The '90s were a different time....

I am currently working on a few cleanups that were requested, but also plan on ripping Sonic Rendevous' "Sweet Nothing" 1998 LP. While there's CD rips up here, the vinyl is one of the best listens ever, and there is nothing like the end, with a long version of City Slang that fades into a secret track. I have a ton of vinyl that I am in the process of backing up, and the interesting stuff will be put up on here!
