LUCKY couple but even LUCKIER house!!! You two deserve a Nobel Piece prize for picking up the pieces and so carefully putting them back together. Congratulations!
I've always been discouraged after looking at so many Historical Queen Anne and Victorian houses on You tube to find every single one of them had these ghastly moderns kitchens and white walls. This man truly has a gift for restoration to the fault and such a deep respect for the original owners. My dream to own a house such a this would be a dream come true but the West coast of Canada just doesn't have the history that the United States does and they are hard to find.
Gorgeous! I am always saddened when I see an old victorian home that was abused and the occupants seem to have no idea how valuable the home is, how rich in history it is, and what wonderful craftmanship went into building these wonderful homes! Thank you and may GOD bless you and your beautiful home!!
Nice work. You deserve a huge applause. Personally, I started restoring my first 1892 Victorian house at age 24. Now I'm 64 and trying to purchase a 1885 home in Victoria BC. Not nearly as grand as your home but quite original even with it's very own 1910 renovation. Makes it interesting. Now if the bank says "yes", maybe one day we will be posting our own video. Thank you for sharing.
Exquisite work! So glad some people who have the insightful vision and desire to work for what they want in life, and the money to make it all work out , once more. It is sad so many large homes were ruined over the years, as people were just not able to find ways to afford them any longer, and had to rent them out over the years in order to survive. Many blessings for many years of a very happy home and plenty of love to fill it always!
When a grand old house has been abused and badly remodeled, too often its best features get destroyed. It's surprising that, given its history, many of these features were still intact, or at least were able to be restored or recreated.
Beautiful, but... the narrator does not pronounce Waltham correctly (Wall-Thum), and the lady owner does not pronounce fleurs-de-lis correctly... flur-duh-lees, the "s" on the end is pronounced. :)

I drive by this home several times a week. Always very impressed with the restoration. Wonderful job!

No he pronounces Waltham as the Massachusetts locals do and not like Waltham watch is pronounced.
Nice job, but color choices are way to conservative!
