With an official opening date of November 3, 2023, the resort opened preview bookings as early as October 13, and we are so excited to be among the FIRST GUESTS to stay at this brand new resort! We are bringing you along for a full tour and the entire process - from checking in, room tour, lobby tour, resort tour, dinner and drinks at their signature restaurant, Ember & Elm: Tastes Rooted In The Smokies, campfires, roasting marshmallows, checking out the pools, theme, architecture, interior decorating and everything else!

What a great hotel! It reminds me of Disneys Wilderness Lodge. It’s so very beautiful & cozy,,,the colors & decor are perfect. The tour & description of the resort is so thorough….Dolly should use your video as her advertisement for this resort.,so perky & positive. Hopeful I can get there one day. 🦋
There are a lot of similarities between the two. Pretty sure they are invested.

Wow, what a gorgeous resort; down home country but elevated! The food looked absolutely amazing! I love being able to travel vicariously through you and Sam, I had a feeling you would be in the Smokey mountains, but this was a lovely surprise.

Thanks for showing this resort. It's about thirty minutes from me. We will have to go soon. I'm glad they have an indoor pool for the colder months. The Smokies and the Laurel bushes that grow there are why I chose the nickname mtnlaurel.

IVE NEVER BEEN TO DOLLYWOOD BUT YOUR VIDEOS MAKE ME WANT TO VISIT. I HAVE BEEN A DOLLY PARDON FAN SINCE EARLY ON. I REMEMBER HER FIRST SONG PRIOR TO THE PORTER WAGONER SHOW WAS CALLED DUMB BLONDE. I LOVED HER ON THE PORTER WAGONER SHOW NEVER CARED FOR HIM AT FIRST. MAY HAVE BEEN HIS WARDROBE. WATCHING THIS VIDEO I NOW WANT TO GO TO DOLLYWOOD AND STAY AT THE LODGE. COOL VIDEO.

Hi Jackie-What a great video, you never disappoint. There are certain things that are setting you apart from other vloggers-you aren't getting burned out, your videos aren't becoming rushed, you take the time to show little things like the quick shot of the yummy pizza, the lone guitar against the wall during your outro, the time lapse. These all take time and yet you still do them for us. I really like that you try to fit in new/different things each time you visit, it's not the same every single trip. Fantastic job! Your time and effort are truly appreciated. Top notch! Loved the fun marshmallows and that giant fire pit is amazing!

We are staying here in a junior suite w/ balcony at Christmas time for our annual family trip to Dollywood's SM Christmas, and I CANNOT wait!! I'm so glad I got to see this video before going to help us plan. We are staying at Camp Margaritaville based on your recommendation during Thanksgiving and taking our dog for his first-ever trip to the Smokies. I love that area of the USA. It's a different thing when you pack your bags and leave for a remote destination to go on vacay, instead of being able to drive to Disney or Universal. Now you're on Vacay! Enjoy Jackie and Sam!

This is a place I would like to stay in the future.I been to Pigeon Forge last year for a few days. I loved it. We are planning on going again next year. We were going to go to Dollywood last year, but was a very last minute decision and couldn’t afford it with our group of people. We are thinking about going to Dollywood next year. We also were thinking about going to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area each season as well.

Omg! I saw a RUclips video of the construction of Dollywood resort and it was so cool. I told my family that when we visit TN again we would have to stay at Margaritaville or here! It does look really cozy. I knew when you said that you were going traveling I guessed TN lol. Thank you for visiting. I would stay there. It looks like a really good and relaxing place. You mentioned something about the guests are given a timer saver pass. Is that true? If so, that's like Universal giving their express pass to the premium resort guests. Oh and tell Sam that little by little is becoming a "southern" boy. LOL. Deviled eggs are certainly a "southern thang". LOL!

It is BEYOND cool that you got to be some of the first guests ever to stay at the brand new resort! 😍 I love the sound machine in the room, really helps to hone in that rustic-cabin-in-the-smokies vibe. Dolly’s message inside the Murphy bed was adorable. Sam was right to investigate the plug situation, too; always one of the first things we go looking for in a new room! 😂 The motion background in the elevator is amazing. I think the DreamMore definitely keeps the trophy for best pool area in Pigeon Forge, but I do love me a good water feature…and the fire pits are a strong 10/10. Dinner looked to be ‘eggxcellent’, indeed! 29:04 I know a Roger Rabbit reference when I see one 😂 This was such a cool insider peek at the new resort! Thanks for taking us along for the tour!

Hello Jackie!!! What an absolutely fun video!! I've never been to Dollywood or Pigeon Forge despite it only being a 6 hour drive from Indy, and I love living vicariously through you! One day I'll make it down there, hopefully the year after next since next year I'm going out to California! It's so cool to see all the new things every time you make a new video! I was eyeing that chicken you had, that looked SO good even though I don't really enjoy chicken thighs.

All that wassail needs is a wee bit o’ rum 🍹!
Wassel is actually an old English drink from like Victorian times or even before that. Most modern takes on it have apple juice or apple cider but the old way was stewed apples. Alton brown made it the old way but slightly modern in a crockpot with lots of alcohol.

The guestroom sound machine is fantastic! This is one hotel that I would not have to carry my air purifier box to drown out any noise. Yeah! So beautiful!
