Wow. After 2.5 years. I finally found the solution. I’ll make sure to share this video with the people in the car forums that were trying to help me fix this issue.
Thanks. I didn't have the radio problem, but my dash lights started going all haywire, flickering, "glitching", said I was going 0mph, gas gauge went to empty even though full tank, when I turned on headlights the radio light would dim. THEN, the speedometer light wouldn't turn OFF after shutting off engine and removing key, shut door..... just stayed on which would drain battery. ANYWAY.......... I tried replacing the 10amp backup fuse and SO FAR.... seems to have done the trick. I was worried I wouldn't be able to make it to work in the morning with a dead battery! THANK YOU for the video!!!!!!
I must say I’m impressed. It really worked. My alarm is back and everything. I tried to put in a radio my self. Glad I didn’t fry the car. I’m super thankful for this video
I just now having almost same problem with my Honda Civic 2009 model, so I'm definitely going to try it out and see how it helps my car from no power at all after not using it about one week. Thanks for this tip!
That backup fuse is for memory of your radio, alarm and anything that needs memory for it to work when you start up the car or when you turn the key to ON position.

I had some electrical problems like head lights dim and when ac on made humming noise thought it was alternator belt … when I did big 3 upgrade it went away
i have the exact radio my battery was being drained, showing check engine lights and battery light car was dying and would not start im going to try this trick, Thank You
HI bro Thanks for the fix it was the exact issue i had, could not find the fuse not sure what the dude below meant by dead radio thats what honda said and would of cost me 500$, and my radio is stocked.
Exactly the reason i dont want to put projection lights or a screen radio on my civic, because it might cost me headaches and money, remember the old saying if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Appreciate the advice it helped my problem after my car was jump started it blew the fuse and now radio and door alarms and key fob works again.

That fuse should be removed before a radio swap, not really the radios fault. It’s designed to blow as a anti theft feature.
That fuse blew after weeks of use of the aftermarket head unit. The unit in question was sub par quality and caused an electrical short.

They are putting so many electronics and touchscreens in Civics nowadays that it needs a truck battery.
