I don't know if anybody else can relate to this, but some days I listen to this to get me pumped up and ready to get to work, and other times at the end of the day I turn off all the lights, blacken the room, and fall asleep to it.

"Moss Covered Bones on the Altar of the Moon" - absolutely one of the most atmospheric, captivating tracks that I ever heard! A true masterpiece! Believe me, this one will stay in the history of black metal forever as one of the gems. What a story too.
This is a masterpiece. Support the artists that you like if you can bros, the scene isn't that big.
There are very few albums I've ever called epic. But this is certainly epic. Blown away by the simplicity and depth. Lyrics are incredible. Music is rock solid! Mind blowing.
This is "POWER" music. I often need a 'spur' that gets me going

I've never really liked black metal, at all. I've never listened to any black metal album from start to finish and probably not even a single song. But your two albums I've been listening non-stop for a few days, and will keep listening. Just love it!

I knew it would take a Native American band to make good black metal in the US. Black metal has to be in context of history and nature, and Blackbraid gets it. Outstanding.

very good work. ironically i can relax and concentrate while listening black/extreme(?) metal albums like these the most. definitely deserves more attention
It is a bit ironic - what people call "relaxation music", that slow and soulless stream of mild, lukewarm sounds, it is just irritating. But BM, oh, that's sometimes relaxing and grounding, and sometimes energetic beyond anything that mainstream can offer.
My vote for best black metal album of all time.

I will tell ya what if some folks don't like this or don't understand this kind of music thats alright its not really for everyone but i am really enjoying this kind of black metal made by a member of the mohawk indian tribe i have listened to both the first album and the second album and i am really diggin both and for being able to create these two albums in maybe a short amount of time says alot about the extremely high level of creativity and the fact that someone such as myself that can listen to the black metal from mayhem and bathory and venom and then listen to this other kind of black metal and im not turned off by it speaks volumes about the sincerity and integrity of the professional musicians and understand enough about the music they made and the atmosphere and individuals who are known for making this kind of music and have gotten very successful with their brand of norwegian black metal which sounds like it was composed where it was composed of and thats cool just like this kind of black metal was composed by some very gifted professional musicians one of which just happens to be an american indian descended from the mohawk tribe that are from the adirondack mountains in new york state and what an equals these two different kinds of black metal are masterpieces. that that open intro for the wolf that guides th hunters hand holy relentlesslly fast and quick rhythms that came from the drums the guitars and vocals

I'm a little bit confused. "Autumnal Hearts Ablaze" sounds very similar to Taake's "Nordbundet" (just the part starting at 3min50). Is it some traditional melody I don't know about or did Blackbraid just take some "inspiration" from Taake? I'm not accusing anyone of anything, I'd really like to know.
