    I have idea of using makita batteries and charger since I already have them. What do you guys think? I could spend more on other stuff and I can take some on a backpack and swap quickly when I get home. I can pair to make 36v system.

    Hey man! Enjoying the videos, very helpful.
    I have a question tho, I'm planning to use 2 x 6355 motors which is 2450 Watts each.
    I wanted to use a 12s3p battery But I had some people telling me the max output of such battery is 1000 watts.. so is the battery not strong enough?
    Thanks in advance!
    Samuel

    How to buy one of our Enertion kits

  • @shaunmcloughlin2280
    @shaunmcloughlin2280 7 лет назад

    I want to but a raptor 2, but is it possible to order a bigger battery or swap one out? I would be using the board to get to and from my town which is a 20 km trek with a few BIG hills. During the trip I'd like to be able to travel about 20 or 30 more km in town and return home on a single charge.

    • @shaunmcloughlin2280

    • @shaunmcloughlin2280
      @shaunmcloughlin2280 7 лет назад

      Enertion Skateboards yes I get that the current range is 25 miles, I'm looking for 35-40 mile range due to my trek being 12 m each way and wishing to cruise while in town before returning. So I need something above 25miles as 24 are driven just getting to and from town

    • @shaunmcloughlin2280
      @shaunmcloughlin2280 7 лет назад +1

      Enertion Skateboards that would be great, 432 wh is great in comparison to alot of other boards on the market, but I'm sure that I'm not the only one banging my head on a wall wishing for 6 to 800wh. If it becomes at all possible without compromising the 49km/h speed, I would definitely buy this item

    • @shaunmcloughlin2280
      @shaunmcloughlin2280 7 лет назад

      I guess my question is really, would you build a special order board with a 700 to 800 WH battery pack? Is it possible without overloading the board with too much power for the components?

    • @shaunmcloughlin2280

    Just discovered electric skateboards.. haha... would love to buy either a raptor2 or a evolve bamboo gtx.. but might have to wait til tax return. Thinking of building a custom diy setup. I want to run 2 or 3 dewalt flexvolt batts.. would these be able to power a esk8? Batt is 18v 9ah. 180watt hrs

    Hey I am a 275lbs college student currently riding a long board and I want to motorize it what are the optimal parts from Enertion I should get to do so. My plan was: spacecell, dual drive r-spec uber+ kit, dual vesc(and connecting can-bus wire), and this remote I already have very similar to the fs-gt2. Am I missing anything or should I upgrade anything?

    • @CadenMatson
      @CadenMatson 8 лет назад

      +Tre Hue sounds like a solid build! you wouldn't need anything else

    • @strix9862
      @strix9862 8 лет назад

      +Caden Matson Even with my weight? I know I am a big guy I just want to make sure im not going to overheat a motor going up a slight incline that I have here.

    • @CadenMatson
      @CadenMatson 8 лет назад

      +Tre Hue dual diagonal with 6372 motors would be best, but as long as you give your board a push to start off, it will be able to carry your weight fine. Just don't expect to go up any significant hills!

    • @pgbilbo
      @pgbilbo 8 лет назад

      +Caden Matson or use 200 mm trucks for a dual 6372 setup. but for this, there are no kits, and you need to fiddle stuff together on yourselve..

    • @mindcrafte
      @mindcrafte 8 лет назад

      If yourve gone enertion rspec dual motors it should get you up hills. Like with anything ut depends on how steep they are and if long inclines. Check out the enertion Raptor Mono uphill test with Jason on it.

    • @Mikenopolis

      +Electric Skateboard Builder I'm looking at the same cheap boards. LectricLongboard / MelonBoard. I have no need to travel hills, maybe a 2-5% for 1 mile within a daily trip. I assume they all have the same components but at advertised with different specs? Would changing from their stock ESC to a VESC be sufficient? oh and I'm a large tall adult at 103-104kg should I just stick with biking?
