Buffalo Springfield, Byrds, Poco, Eagles, Flying Burrito Bros., C.S.N.& Y... GOD bless them all for everything they've done FOR OUR PREFERRED KIND OF MUSIC!
Sim meu amigo aí só tem cobra naja da música com muita bagagem de estrada .. sou muito fan de tudo isso Buffalos, Neil, Poco, Eagles e CrazyHorse... Eu aqui do Brasil me sinto peixe fora da água e arrisco tocar algumas músicas desses Mestres.. Valeu !
The guy on the red guitar is Paul Cotton. Paul wrote In the Heat of the Night and sang it. Paul joined Rusty back in August 2021 in Heaven. RIP Paul and Rusty
Thanks for the video !!! When jerry Garcia said Rusty was the best available, on steel, he wasn't shittin !!! You should hear him doin most of the guitar and lead singing, now...AWESOME !!! Catch them, May 18th & 19th, 2012, Thrasher Opera House, Green Lake, WI !!! I'll be there on the 19th, for sure. Only holds 199 seats...It's Great !!!
Twas at the Maverick this night (that whole season)..Jimmy lives close by and often shows up to try things out...it's a little gem of a bar they toss everyone out of when comes show time! Santa Ynez, Calif- great little place with really good acts.
Just became aware of this reunion, Saw Poco 4 times in high school with my girlfriend (Sweet Jane) always as an opening act for others Also caught Southern Hillman Furay Band around this time. Great period and memories.
Actually I dont think Poco did that song live after Messina left. I saw them in 72? and maybe mid 70s. Paul Cotton was playing lead, sort of, Really Rusty did most of the really hard slide stuff. Richie had so many of his own songs, but I didnt go to every show, haha. Would have liked to.
Good to see this. These guys are great. They were great 30 years ago.....They influenced a generation of pickers and grinners......Alas, time waits for no man....
@directmgmt08 Yes, I see now that his hand is wrapped up, Great to see Tim up there with Richie & even Jim. Quite a reunion, would have loved to see this!
When I first saw Poco at the Warehouse in NO I thought about my buddy George L.cuz the band opened up with a big fat groove w George Grantham playin the paradiddle lick that is George Lawrence' favorite device. Rock on George!

Saw Jim Messina the other night and he included this song in his set. No pedal steel, but it still sounded good!
Wow, what would I havegiven to see this. I didn't know Timothy was singing with them again, Why isn't he playing bass?
yea, well cell phone video's are hard to watch, appreciate, enjoy- - regardless this is good history
Who Needs the Eagles?
I do.
Buffalo Springfield legacy. Don't forget that.
Drums a bit xtra
ish. prefer the recordings.
Timothy B. Schmidt does not appear to like doing this tune.
He sang it lead vocal when he was still in POCO. Together with Richie Furay
