If you look deeper there are articles stating that Take it to the Limit was part of the regular set at concerts (the site I was on showed the set for the concerts). The night it all ended Randy wasn't feeling well. Leadon left because of dealing with "the gods", Henley & Frey, which is why Randy left. Being a band mate with those 2 was like being in an abusive marriage/relationship. The original Eagles was the best and Randy had a voice of an angel!!

I'm a long-time Poco fan. This is special to have Meisner playing again with Rusty and George. I remember thinking how great this song was the first time I heard it on the radio. So glad for them to have another hit as they deserved so many that just bubbled under being so. I think I actually resented The Eagles at the time for taking Timothy, but who could blame him for the opportunity of a lifetime? I have just most of the early Poco on LP still though streaming makes it easier I still enjoy the physical album art and notes. One of the finest bands that ever blended country with rock, folk, and pop. It makes me feel joy to know there's still a lot of us, even new folks, listening in 2024.
This is music for dreaming, cruising and dancing. Music that makes you realize that many things are possible, that many things are easier to bear, and that compromises can be made as long as it can be called love.
That’s very true. Glenn Frey used to go to Poco rehearsals and sit on the floor and watch what they were doing and built the Eagles model around it, but smoothing over the country edges. And then, of course, when Randy Meisner left Poco, they formed and created the Eagles.

Randy was so different in this. He moved around while playing his guitar. In the Eagles he basically just stood there. It was good to see him enjoy himself here.
Richie left the Legacy reunion tour early and returned to his ministry in CO. If you look at the Legacy singles videos, he doesnt look very into it. He looks more joyful in concert videos since 2008 or so, including the Buffalo Springfield reunion shows in 2010. @@erikrichards5072
I first heard Crazy Love in high school and was hooked. No band plays like these guys. I have always thought these guys were ignored by the critics. Now they are listed as a country band even though we all know they were a southern rock band.

Glen was a real slave driver to Randy and Bernie, and later to Don Felder. Don't get me wrong, Glen was an integral part of the Eagles, but he sure could be a dick sometimes.
Saw them on this tour at LBC in Santa Rosa, CA. They blew the doors off the place. Randy did "Take it to The Limit." One of the best concerts I've ever seen. There just isn't music or Bands like Poco anymore. RIP Rusty and Randy.
Not so rare, Randy rejoined the band for their reunion album, Legacy, and the subsequent tour. He was again a full member of Poco for that period of time. Let's not forget the late, great Paul Cotton. He, along with Rusty WAS Poco for many years. He wasn't involved in this reunion project as he was doing his solo thing.
Live or lip synching? Doesn't matter-great band and great song. These types of quality bands are hard to find these days...Randy Meisner improved every band he was ever in, guy was a such a talent. RIP
Far too much live equipment set up with all instruments and mics wired as required to flag this as lip synching. The drums are the first thing heard that should let anyone know it is live. That subject aside, it is a great song by a great band that anyone that watches this video should enjoy every aspect as shown. RIP Rusty and Randy. 🙂

I saw the early version a couple times and a touring nostalgia version once in the late 2000s. They aren't in the hall of fame because of ignoramuses who control who gets in and choose to include people and groups who have nothing to do with rock of any kind.
Just another song and band to remind us lucky enough to have grown up in the 60s 70s 80s early 90's We had all the best bands, songs, musicians and memories of a much better time. Not just lucky but blessed by all these great performer's. Something that will never happen again... sadly. Agreed that it is a great song. Unfortunately, I am pretty sure the reason it sounds just like the record is that they are lip-syncing to the studio recording. Case in point: Where is Richie Furay? If I’m not mistaken, it was he and not Rusty who played that classic hook.
In May of 1976 I interviewed Rusty Young at the Charlotte Coliseum. Poco was on stage setting up. He was playing with a yo-yo. I said, “ We’re sitting in the Charlotte Coliseum with Rusty Young and you’re playing with your yo-yo. He said, “That sounds dirty. You can’t say THAT on the radio.” It was a fantastic interview. Suddenly a speaker started buzzing loudly. Rusty said, “ Isn’t that gonna mess up your tape…all that buzzing?” But we carried on. He invited me to stay for their sound check. My photographer friend John Taylor took a photo of me in the front row like an audience of one. Later I ate at Holiday Inn at a table with several Flying Burrito Brothers. I interviewed one of Willie Nelson’s drummers The Devil Paul English. He took John and me to the back of the tour bus and I interviewed Willie Nelson. Fantastic show, interviews. Willie’s album then was The Sound in Your Mind. I played every song on it on WGNC. Willie was very appreciative.
