I am an old fart grew up as young kid and young teen in 70s and 80s best era of rock music ever. Some of the best music ever. Got to see many of the greatest bands and groups live, poor kids today will never know that fun. Sad, what passes for music today is pathetic. people freak out when they come over to house or ride in car with me and this kind of music on CD is playing. My nephews 10 and 12 have fallen in love with the music of my youth, from this to AC DC Led Zepplin eagles Phil Collins Bad Company ZZTop etc they love it. I make sure when they are coming over I have it keyed un in CD layer, they love rel rock
This song always reminds me of the good ol'days when me and my family went on vacation to Germany or somewhere in the Netherlands during the early 90ties, this was on my favorite CD (Best of 89) and when I hear it I can almost taste the German air in my lungs of the many forest we traveled to.

They would probably have been more of a houshold name if they hadn't made the deliberate choice to stay in Sweden to maintain their independence. Still did pretty good for themselves and on balance I'm sure they were happy with their choice.

Per and Marie were so powerful. I am so glad that i was at their Joyride tour in the Westfalenhalle btw that was my first concert and i was at their Concert in Leipzig before Marie died. I could cry all the way. Roxette was my youth love rock guilt. Love them so much.

This is a recording of a live show with the audio of the record. I've played this hundreds of times and nobody, not even Marie and Per, could reproduce it this perfectly. Love the song though and it's always wonderful to see them both in action.

I take my hat off to Roxette. Their music was so good that they managed to hold their own against Michael Jackson, Madonna, and Whitney Houston--not easy competition.
I'll buy Roxette's vinyl record this week.

A legend, beautiful inside and out, passion and fire for her family, and music my heart is heavy with her passing whenever I hear this song and a couple others…not all is sad though. They don’t make people like Marie anymore, the world isn’t as bright without her…but she did leave us with her music and that happiness is forever. RIP Marie, you’ll never be forgotten.
