Yes, that Martin C Strong book is ace. I have a copy of one of the editions and it’s led me down a few paths that I otherwise wouldn’t have considered. The Jethro Tull 45 is a great Christmas single. One of my faves.
Nice haul of records there. That record cleaning arm reminds me of the one I had on my turntable back in the early eighties called a dust bug, it had a brush to get rid of the dust, a roller to apply the cleaning fluid and it took away the static, all while you were playing the record. It was a handy little gadget and it kept my albums spotlessly clean. The book looks like it could be a useful reference work in regards your record collecting as well, and only a Quid. Bargain!
Great video! Great "QUO" snags. I have OG copies of most of those as well. Suzi! Love that Jean Michel Jarre album and that Alice Cooper. I'm new to the VC. Posted my first video about 4 weeks ago. Now I've been like a kid in a candy store checking out all these cool channels. Yours is great. I just subbed to it and look forward to your next video. Cheers
You said Jean Michel Jarre exactly the way I said it once to a record shop member of staff,I said “is it that the way you say it” and they said “no” ! 😂👍
The Supertramp-'Paris' (1980) is a double live album. A nice find, well done. Also Graham Parker is terrific (Bruce Springsteen is an admirer), I would think you would like his albums, try 'Howlin' Wind and also 'The Up Escalator'.
Junie was a former member of The Ohio Players and went solo when their contract was up with Westbound. The group without Junie were signed by Mercury where they found World wide fame with songs like "Fire" & "Love Roller Coaster". Junie remained at Westbound and released three albums of his experimental quirky funk before joining Bill Clinton's Parliament/Funkadelic set up. He's definitely an acquired taste.
Joe Walsh was a member of The Eagles for a while back in the 70s. I'm curious 🤔..how did you manage to accumulate so many copies of the same Pink Floyd albums, are they Originals or reissues?.
Hi. Vinyl Vault not a bad pick today. I find Status Quo a tad bland, not my cuppa at all. The best record you pulled out was definitely Alice Cooper's Love It To Death, it's from 1971 and it should be gatefold. It was released on Frank Zappa's Straight label, I have a copy on that label. It was re- released on the Warner Brother's green label which is more common. It features "Eighteen" a single that was released from the album, it sells for more than a £100 for a good copy. I used to have that myself but I sold it, but that's another story. The album itself is really good you will enjoy that one. A first press of the album sells for upwards of £90.
Those Martin Stong books were a godsend in the pre internet days ! I’ve got a few - great find 🎉

Amazing Video, great stuff!! ☺
Thank you! 😀
I do like the side light on the shelves
That's a very good haul.
Thank you 😁
The Jethro Tull single was their Xmas single in 1976.
Thanks for letting me know.
Nice Book!

Underneath your sign that sits on your self, what are the multiple copies of the same record?
Pink Floyd LP variants. Video coming soon. Stay tuned!

Thanks for the additional info. Much appreciated!
I'll take Quo, Joe Walsh and Graham Parker, you can keep the rest.
The book and cleaning arm the most interesting finds. The vinyl...?
The Junie Lp goes for quite a fair bit on Discogs.
The Status Quo vinyl will be worth quite a bit, as anything on the Vertigo label,eg Thin Lizzy-'Jailbreak', always fetch good prices.
Joe Walsh was a member of The Eagles for a while back in the 70s.
I'm curious 🤔..how did you manage to accumulate so many copies of the same Pink Floyd albums, are they Originals or reissues?.
Lots of originals with different variations from a Pink Floyd collection I bought. Video coming soon. Stay tuned!

Thanks for your comprehensive reply. Appreciated!
Got that book didn’t pay a £1 for it
Michel is pronounced 'Me shell' (Jean Michel Jarre's name)
Thank you, I appreciate your comment and I know for next time. All the best.
You just seem to buy anything and everything.
