Dead Kennedys and Black Flag at a garage sale is pretty awesome! Great haul. The end of your garage sale season is the start of mine down here in the bowels of south Florida
Yeah I am hoping he brings in more over the next few weeks. My parents have a winter place in Florida. I went and hit a goodwill bin there in March. Took my son to Disney and did the full blown. Tourist thing lol.
Just stumbled upon this thumbnail and you seem to be a very genuine guy, which is a rare quality as a reseller, so congrats to this great find, hope I will come across some Black Flag out in the wild, too, but it's not easy around here :) greetings from Budapest!
Thanks. It’s honestly not often that I get back flag, or any hardcore records in the wild. Maybe once a year if I am lucky. However I had two finds in the last month lol. I bought another small collection that had Black Flag and Dead Kennedys and Ramones ect. I posted it a few weeks back. I was a collector first, before I started re-selling. I think that makes a difference. There are some people who just got into it to make money because “record are hot right now”. Luckily those guys don’t last too long.
That copy of My War looks like one of the early 2000s represses. There were THOUSANDS of those things. Not sure why those are growing in value. There were literally thousands and initially sold for like 8$ sealed.
No it’s a 1984 Canadian pressing. The thing is even the 2000 represses are sought after because, yes thousands were pressed but millions now want a copy of that record around the world. Supply and demand
Thanks. When I think I am getting a good deal already I don’t haggle. I know guys who have to haggle on anything. Does t matter is they are getting steal of a deal, it’s just how they are wired lol
Nice score, fair price. I have quite of few that you had shown,I also had some you had shown that I had sold. The Iron Maiden live after death I bought two days after it first came out In 1985,still have it in excellent condition. That Black Flag though,I need that one. Good job!
One of the first records I ever bought was Number of the beast the same year it came out. I bought every maiden album after that up until power slave the year they came out.
Man I collected 2/3 of those exact LPs in the 80's, minus that Canuk stuff, but now I'm interested in that Northern Pike stuff. The Metal and HC! What a great score. I bet that dude was a good time to hang out with. Rest in Power 🤘
I bought the first 3 northern pike albums for about $10 each on discogs. They took forever to come, I thought they had got lost, but worth it in the end
Yeah it’s the hunt! It’s the reason you keep going to the thrift stores and looking through the dregs week after week. It’s the reason you hit garage sale after garage sale filled with new kids toys and unused excessive equipment. Because the next one could be the big one!
Here in Hamilton! Definately need to come down there, since Cheapies closed I have been using Discogs. I have a copy of that Black Flag album from SST "84 mint only paid $20 for it.
I rember buying hardcore collections back in the 90’s for a few bucks each. I even passed on some nice collections back in the day. Wish I could go back in time lol
Pretty cool score, Dead Kennedys "Skateboard Party" is one the best bootleg DK live albums and sounds great, it was put out in 1983 on the German label Starving Missile and was partly official, in 2019 it was released on manifesto as part of the "DK 40" offical live box set, that featured some of the bands best live recordings... but Jello did approve.
I read that. It’s a pretty great boot. I found another DK and Black Flag record last week. Damaged and Gove me Conveneice with the flexi. It was in my last video.
If you come across any Dissection albums let me know❤. I am huge fan and protector collector. Any old Black Metal stuff or Death Metal aswell. Just on Hamilton Mountain and am so happy to see your store. Love it!
Wow. Well I learned something. I always thought they were brothers? I saw them whe. They opened for Bowie on his Glass Spider tour (1987 I think). It was awesome!
I’ll take the Great White Album if you’re willing to hold it for me. I live down south but have a property in Wainfleet that I visit frequently. I can also send a family member to pick up. Thx
Unfortusnlty these records won’t be making it out to the store for a few more weeks. I am a one man show here and I have picked up a few collections lately that I am working through before I get to these. The best thing to do it join the store intagram or Facebook pages. I post a flip video each week of new records that are I. The store for the week. If you message me through Insta or FB store pages Is the. Eat bet she. You see a record you like. I get to those message much quicker than my RUclips ones. Links below facebook.com/groups/7046785902/ instagram.com/timecapsuledunnville/

It will happen. You just gotta keep trying. Wayne Gretzky said you score zero percent of the shots you don’t take. Or something like that. Good look hunting
Wait, $400. Cannot believe that. Feel bad the guy had no clue on the value he had in those records. There’s probably $3,000 retail worth there. Yikes! I own a small shop in Massachusetts and most people who sell know what they have. That would have been at least $1,000 here.
Wish I lived in a market were they were worth $3000 lol. Not around here. About 40-50 are in the 20-30 Discogs median range (with a few above). The rest are gonna end up at 10-5 or less retail. He originally wanted much less. I generally figured it at around 10 each for the good stuff and a few bucks a piece for the common stuff that normally would have left behind as I already have multiples.
Thanks. It’s really tough finding collections here. A lot of the other dealers I know go over to NY to buy because there are a lot more records to be had in the USA
It is a good deal. About half of these are only worth 3-5 each, but he didn’t want me to cherry pick. The other half of more than worth what I paid for them, even if a good number of them will end up in my personal collection lol
Yes several people have pointed that out to me. I learned something. They opened for David Bowie for my first stadium concert I ever went to in 86 or 87 (things get foggy when you get over 50 lol)
It’s odd, but I would feel guilty giving him 400 Canadian dollars. Problem is though I suppose if you say I will give you 500, he’s going to smell a rat.
@timecapsuledunnville5133 It's the scale! My best friends parents in high school were antique dealers, so I was exposed to that in my teens. The issue today is that hordes of people are now rifling through op shops for stock to sell on their eBay or Amazon stores. 🙏
I love talented bands, regardless of the “genre”. My collection has stuff from pretty mich every type of music. One of my first loves as a grade schooler was Maiden. IN grade 5 I had a Jean jacket that I paid a kid with art skills to paint Eddy on the back (sadly my parents tossed that out). As I got older I was introduced to all kinds of amazing music, and labels stopped mattering as much to me. I even have 60’s Indian Bollywood soundtracks in my collection now lol
I saw the thumbnail and thought “no way that’s Dunnville Ontario”. What a great haul!
It does happen out here. The rural area had a lot of punk/metal fans back in the day.
Fantastic Records.. Undertones! great band and songs! I love going to sales and seeing things I like, especially punk.
Yeah I love the undertones as well. Very underrated. Several of these will end up in my personal collection.

Sadly it doesn’t happen to me as often as it used to lol
MY WARRR…..and scream for me Long Beach…already a killer collection
Yeah really hoping the guys comes back this week and brings more !
I need that Sarasin and that Southern Deathcult! Like seriously!
The Deathcukt is going into my personal collection. I already have a copy of that Sarasin in the store
Northern Pikes ARE a great band. Still recording and touring.
True.

Sadly I don’t get much Death or Black Metal stuff anymore. Most metal heads will not part with their collections lol
Yes! The same vinyls that I and a lot of other people had in his or her collection of vinyls!🙂♾️🇺🇸
A lot of my business is just people trying to get back what they or their parents threw out back in the day.
Please they are vinyl not vinyls
Great collection…was at same pikes Bowie show…22nd row ….great memories….Also saw the pikes at the Aqua Duck in Welland. Great time for Canadian bands
It was such a great show. The guitar solo during “Things I Do for Money” echoing around the stadium was mind blowing
Interesting! Nice to find a chanel based in Ontario.
Thanks for watching!
FYI
The Taylor's from Duran Duran are not related. Yes Andy, Roger and John all have the same last name, but not brothers.
Yes someone else commented on that as well. I learned something. I got to see DD open for Bowie on his Glass Spider Tour
Got a copy of RUSH Moving Pictures. Here it takes an eternity to even find one good one. That took me years to find out and about. That was a ton!
It is getting harder and harder to find records in the wild now. I just have been pretty lucky lately
I live in Oregon but I found a radio a Canadian radio
station that plays The Hip a lot. Good band!
They did play Saturday Night Live when Dan Akroyd hosted ages ago. I think it is on RUclips. Worth a look
My God. Such a collection.. basically all in Mint condition. I've never seen a Sass Jordan LP before.
Yeah I am well pleased with it. I do get the Sass record in from time to time.
I use ti find great stuff at thrift stores. But alas Pickens have been slim ( no offense to Slim Pickens?
Yeah in the 90’s and early 2000s I used to get great stuff but now not so much
Nice Hip record!!
Since Gord passed it kinda makes me a bit sad listening to the hip now.
Sammy did 2 albums with Montose. The one you have and Paper Money.
I have had the one in the video several times over the years, but I have never seen the paper money. I will have to keep an eye out
Hey do you possibly have a copy of I hate therefore I am by Cyclone Temple ? I can’t find it anywhere
No sorry.

Wow Brantford! I might have known the guy from back in the day.

@timecapsuledunnville5133 I mean Dunnville lol. I played / went to some punk shows in both.
I was really hoping to meat some of the guys in the Problem Children whe. I moved here, but they had all left lol

It really is a great group of records

No, not at this time. I don’t get many records from the 2000’s come through the store
