Yes I sell cards and some toys on eBay, and I ship those, but I don’t like shipping records because I worry about warpage if the record has to sit in a shipping van.

I dont see much bargain wise on marketplace anymore. Most of it is retailed + priced, or it sells within the first few minutes of being listed. Town wide garage sales are the best for picking. Lots of garage sales, located in one place.

DJ copies and Promos usually fetch the best $ and are sought after. Your best bet is to familiarize yourself with Discogs. It is a great way to get an idea of value. If the condition is decent I think you could do really well. Check them all individually, because some could be worth big dollars

I do buy newer stuff for the store, but I don’t collect much after 2010. I am over 50 now so I just don’t have the hustle or time to keep up with the latest in music.

I am over 50 now, and spent most of my entire life with music as my center. I had a college radio show while I was still in high school, and then when I actually got to university. I worked in music stores and a record label in the 90’s. After uni. I was constantly going to shows to see usually smaller indie artists. Music was my everything. However I slowed down a lot around 2010, and since my son was born I just don’t have the hustle or the time to keep chasing new music. I have a large and varied record collection and an equally large CD collection (don’t forget the tapes). So i am good lol

While I agree with about thing only bro g worth what people are willing to pay. Discogs provides a list of sold for prices, and this particular record sells $150 plus on a regular basis, in VG condition. This one is a strong VG+

I have never even seen one at record shows when I used to sell at those. Crazy that it was at the back of the box and not considered “valuable”.

Seriously. The only thing I can think is they didn’t think that they are still legal currency and worth the face value. In the baggies I have found silver pesos, modern Euro coins and all kinds of interesting tokens.
