lets be real here whilst this sort of find isn't impossible most of us know that at UK car boots.. tatty, Abba, carpenters and the best of bread are about the standard that's out there... you might get this sort of collection once every 10 years or so if your very lucky as records of this standard/value would last about 10 seconds once put on sale as even people who aren't into music are grabbing records these days..
I find the odd gem at boot sales. But so many are now looking for records I find it hard to believe anyone is this lucky … you’re getting the views so you’re entertaining some people ….
A good independent shop would have given him £10+ for most of them in that condition. Not sure why he would sell them on a car boot for £2 each, very strange. Also, my shop has dustier sleeves than those. He must have 50k+ vinyl, he ain't cleaning that lot in a hurry, by himself. Why do you think people aren't believing your great hauls?

Most of us aren't jealous or hateful (some might be blunt, like you lol). There's several guys on here that do as much digging as VV does but we don't see the quantity, condition and the super low prices that he does. I've left nice comments and info on 3 older vids but I've now joined the sceptical queue. Because of channels like this one. I've been going 1 car boot every Sunday at 5:30 am for 12+ months. I only collect rock/metal but no hauls, only the odd LP for £1 each. The 2 guys that turned up with collections, one had virtual internet prices (3 of us walked away) and the other, vinyl overplayed, jackets had never been kept in PVC sleeves, way too worn, some were even rodent chewed and he still wanted £2 each. If only I liked Perry Como, then, I would go home with a boot-full of vinyl every week and still have change leftover from a £5 lol.

It is not surprising to see albums in such pristine condition if bought from a boot sale. The owners generally are casual listeners that amassed the collections in their teens and 20's and now in their 60's and 70's and their kids or grandkids don't want the albums. I would say even with myself in my late 50's, I only really bought cassettes as a kid and CD's after in my early 20's onwards, as albums were pretty well out of print by 1990/91 in Australia. And most albums, unless your favourites rarely get played. I certainly haven't played my cassettes since 1989.
Hi Vinyl Vault, an excellent pick there mate. Look like reissues to me, nevertheless a great pick. You're getting a lot of negative comments, and I must admit I've been going to boot sales all over the North East and never had the same success as you. Don't get me wrong I don't go early in the morning, just the normal times. Must say I have picked some really good and very rare lps and singles, so good luck mate.

check to see if the led zep 2 is a robert ludvig press. I think it says RL in the dead wax if it is. They sound amazing so have a higher value. You can check on line how to tell the Led Zeppelin 2 robert ludvig press from others but I think it's RL in the dead wax if I remember right. You did well this time dude.
Unfortunately they reflect the light like a mirror and I much prefer to stay out of sight. Being in front of the camera is not really my thing, I am a bit like Banksy in that respect. Must vist Bristol.

You certainly do well at car boot sales. I see a lot of videos in the vc of people showing off their car boot finds. Nobody seems to do quite as well as you, though. If I were the cynical type, I'd be almost tempted to say too good to be true....🤔
I enjoy your videos but have often wondered if they are setup. You do get alot of too good to be true stuff on a regular basis. As someone who has always frequented carboot sales I rarely come across the volume of good stuff that you do. Something about this video didn't quite sit well with me when you started talking about dust and conditions throughout. I'd like to be wrong and wish you best of luck with your future adventures.

@@vinylnutter i've done 38 years self employed selling music for a living and agree with you...the only time you might have got this sort of vinyl at car boots was in the 84 - 90 time when people were dumping their vinyl for cds... literally giving them away

Alright i think i need to stand up for The Vinyl Vault here..first of all people if you look through the channels history you will find some shorts filmed at bootsales,secondly i dont understand what people are suggesting..that hes buying these records from shops or something at shop prices and then pretending they are from boot sales? With the records he finds the cost of doing that would be enormous and quite a price to pay just to get views on a RUclips channel that he makes no money from at all,it would be quite a mad thing to do and would ultimately be totally pointless,in the past i have had similar finds,theres been times ive literally dragged bags if LPs out of charity shops which were given to the shop for free and sold on for a pound or two,theres countless records sitting in basements,sheds,lofts and garages etc,when people get around to selling them someone gets a great deal,get there early,have ya money ready and away you go...and VV you really must send me a message mate 👍

Millions of records sold first time around and are still to be discovered sitting in attics, lofts, garages, sheds etc. People need to ask themselves what going Multi-Platinum means. That is sales between 2 and 10 million copies. I wonder how many people are active in the vinyl community and have theses records in their collection. I would guess a very small percentage. @@thevinylvault yes there are millions out there mate, the early 80s the 1970s and 1960s was a time when records sold countless amount,and particularl artists sold tons and tons which is why certain records turn up over and over...Thriller for example or Brothers in Arms,these sold not only great amounts but sold steadily over time so who knows how many are out there,once the numbers are understood then we can understand why they can still be picked up plus an important factor is that people who sell at boot sales are the modern equivalent of sellers at jumble sales,they don't know or really care about what they are selling,they just want to earn a few quid out of stuff that would have probably been thrown out otherwise,this is why whenever i see a charity shop I pop my head around the door and ask if they have any records..they are out there you just have to find them and it's not my fault or business if they only want a pound for them

As for the actual value of these finds I suppose its all down to the pressings. A lot of these albums would of had multiple releases over the years.
Really like to see the condition of the vinyl.
I was happy for picking up Iron Maiden Best of the Beast and Kiss Dressed to Kill on CD for 49p each
