    Family Style is the only studio album featuring guitarists and vocalists Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Released on September 25, 1990, it is their only studio collaboration. In his early years, Stevie often remarked that he would like to do an album with his elder brother. That wish turned out to be his last studio performance, released nearly a month after his death. The liner notes end with "Thanks Mama V. for letting us play."

    I went to an estate sale this morning out of the blue and I was really overwhelmed, in a good way lol. I collect and resell a lot of uranium glass, and the estate sale was loaded with it. I was sort of losing my mind 😂 It was truly AMAZING. The prices were up there but still worth it for reselling. She’s still having more sales as she has more to go through this summer. Can’t wait! I want to try to get into selling vinyls. My mom has a bunch of 45s she wants me to help her get rid of so I will probably start with those.

    Exactly how I started selling on eBay 6 months ago. My second yard sale I ran into a woman getting rid of all her albums for about 1 to 2 dollars a piece which were basically opened and never played. I ended up buying about 75 albums all 60’s,70’s and 80’s rock for about $90. I have about 50 left and I’m up to a sold comps of $300 so far. First one I sold was London Calling by the Clash for $60 and I was hooked.

      Thieves typically don’t pay for the items they bring home, do they? Nor do they research to figure out what the market it for those items, clean them, save them from the landfill and get them to someone who will appreciate them. At least, not that I’m aware. Something is only worth what someone will pay and what the market will support.

    Well you didn't show the vinyl on any of the cheaper ones so price could be higher or lower on those but I've gotten most of them out of dollar bins. Sealed vintage records tend to be warped upon opening. Almost every single album I have purchased that is older than five years old, has had pretty significant warping due to the pressure placed upon them from the shrink wrap. Need a Vinyl Flat treatment for them all.

    • @MountainManTreasure
      @MountainManTreasure  2 года назад +3

      For some people it isn’t. For me, I enjoy selling pieces of people’s history and bringing back something they knew and loved, even when it’s just a few bucks. And the smalls over time add up!

    • @killafrog124
      @killafrog124 2 года назад +3

      Really no, but it happens thinking we scored and it's really a few dollar profit, but it's getting in the hand of a music lover of this lp. if they dont sell in time u might find more of that artist and make bundles in the future also.

    • @chappy675
      @chappy675 2 года назад +1

      No it isn’t. I have often wondered why some sellers work themselves to death selling $1 profit items. You really have to be careful on used records. I’m a 50+ year collector and collectors are picky! Those that will take a worn cover are not willing to pay much. Those that are willing to pay a lot are super strict about grade.
