  • LinFix. In this video I will be replacing the inner tie rod on my 2007 Audi A4. This task becomes easy if you follow as I show you step by step.

    How did you get track rod end pinch bolt out so easy lol

      I think he lives somewhere that does not rain a lot, or put salt on the roads in winter. If it is St. Lucia, the average low all year is 23 degrees C.

      Grease pinch bolt regularly, like every year take it out and grease it

      If you measure precisely the end points on where the old inner tie rod mates with the steering rack and the outer ball joint to the top knuckle mount before swapping in the new inner joint you shouldn't have to.

    I couldn't take this seriously, when the first thing you see is an impact gun going anywhere near the pinch bolt 😂😂 they literally break looking at them

      just did the same job on this same car make… none of the pinch bolts broke with 1/2 impact

      Never had one break on me. Been working on Audi/VW cars near 20 years. Of course if you live in a state that snows a lot and puts salt on the roads you'll have nothing but rust problems with any car.

      u must not know anything about mechanical work, he took off the nut. it couldnt possibly snap that way
