My Audi A4 2014 has developed a creeking noise at the front both sides and my mechanic said it's from the suspension rods rubber hardening. I take it he means tie rods. Have you heard of the rubber hardeneing to cause a creaking noise? Thanks

Yes this is the b6 audi, and very similar to Passat b5 amd b5.5.
