  • A big fat fountain pen! Looks great, writes okay. Very heavy. I've had this for a year or so and use it occasionally with platinum carbon ink. WARNING: Video contains scenes of ravaged fingernails.

I have this pen and love it. Try writing upside down with it for a finer line.
With the nib upside down. I have the purple version too.

FYI It's called a Charlie Chaplin Pen because of the engravings around the cap base. The Tramp's shoes, cane & bow tie. :) I did a video on these pens a few months ago.

Yolande Webster - yes, it’s a nice looking pen but after a few years of using it (in and off) I can’t say I enjoy using it.

I like flat topped pens too.

Recently obtained one with a curved nib and it's scratchy, not the easiest pen out of the box to use but I like it. It posts well (for now) and seats nicely with an audible snap. For $20 US shipped I don't think you can go wrong with this weighty, piston action budget pen.

The cap no longer locks into place and is essentially loose on the pen which isn’t great.
