Got mine on my GSX-8S, best decision I ever made. I had my finger on the trigger on a few other exhausts systems, but I’m glad I waited. None of the others come close the sound of that AT2 baby!
This is what im thinking too hahaha, so tough to pull the trigger since its a full system and the bikes are so new. But this video is really giving me some bias for my 8R
Bro, I literally just did the installation. I freaking love you for recommending the mini rachet kit and loosening the radiator! Made a tight situation so much better. Not great, but waaay easier than it would've been. Thanks so much!
I ride a Gen 2 Hayabusa. I did a test ride one of the GSX-8Rs on one of the demo days. I got to say I was shocked at the torque and power the 800 parallel twin provides. I love Yoshi and this is a perfect upgrade to a great bike.
You're lying about riding a hayabusa or you're lying about having ridden a gsx8r. The gsx8r is garbage, period. If Ducati can make a SMALLER two cylinder engine (the 749) with 110hp and 60 lb ft of torque in the early 2000s, I see no reason why Suzuki and the other Japanese manufacturers can't pump out similar numbers. You know, these things cost MONEY. You have to work for that shit. Money doesn't grow on trees, so I for one think, "how dare they even release this garbage"... literally wasting the universes potential at this point. They clearly don't give a shit about bikes anymore, so they should stop. The rs660 is smaller and still, more power. There's just no excuse for ANY "sport bike" especially one with fairings to be under 100hp in 2024. If you can't handle the power, you shouldn't be riding.
@@TheJoker-gg8hc The RS660 is a great bike, no doubt about it. However, it’s got dog shit tier reliability and maintenance costs compared to the GSX-8R. I’m sure Suzuki could juice up the power of the GSX-8R to as much power or close to as much as the Ducati 749 but then they would likely increase the overall cost of the bike a decrease the reliability of it as well.
Let me just say i just did this job today after watching this video and using the Sunex tool for the win!!!! I couldn’t imagine trying to do that without that little ratchet. Thank you for the tips made my life so much easier!!!!
OC: Definitely Yoshimura hit it outta the park with the exhaust for the GSX8R. Sounds so good making the parallel twin sound beautiful. I've always been a SC Project guy but I'll admit I love the sound of the 8R here.
I have a yoshi alpha T on my bike, it's not a 8R,ive had it for 7 years now, it's just a slip on but it's one of best looking/sounding exhausts on my bike/model,if you dont like it loud just install the baflle it will be alot quieter!!
Stock exhaust honestly sounds like hot garbage. no depth or reverb. While i am not a huge fan a Yoshi pipes, this sounds pretty fire. Credit where credit's due. Great content Chase, love your work.
rode one of these at a Suzuki test ride event. i had an absolute blast, it was the first 'big' bike I've ever rode and i couldn't get over how little throttle input it needed to get going. However the biggest drawback was the sound, the bike was too quiet for me. I am the type of person that likes the loudest exhaust i can get because i need some sort of feedback of what the bike is doing. The engine was too smooth running to feel the revs in the bars and the exhaust was too quiet to hear the rpm of the engine. I pretty much figured that i would have to buy the exhaust before the bike on this model.
OC...curious, is an aftermarket exhaust even worth putting on an R3? I just picked one up to get my bearings riding again and when i grab a larger bike later, my brother wants the R3, so I won't be getting rid of it anytime soon....she sounds good as is but I'm betting a good exhaust will take it up a notch
Hello! Love your videos guys! I just wanna ask if that is the yoshimura exhaust with catalytic converter? Bec there is 2 types of exhaust in their website. Thanks
Tbh I have a 8r and at night living in nyc the lights are not as bright with a lot of lights everywhere and when you get to a darker road there visible but not as great as you’d expect with the 3 lights.
I really want to like the sound of all the parallel twin bikes but this just sounds like & 300 & that sounds like a lawnmower to me 😮 I got into sport bikes bc when I was a kid I loved the noise of the inline 4s sounded like an f1 car to me. Sad to see that engine going away. Don’t hate on me for this it’s just my preference..
I wanna know what lawn mower you own because not even my Dixie chopper sounds like this. lol Now if this was a 180 degree parallel twin, I’ll agree but 270 and 285 degrees twins sound totally different. I wish my lawn mower would rev up to 9k too!

Tuned this bike shoves another 10 horsepower and 8-9 ft-lb torque.

Sounds just like my MT07 with a full Yoshi system. Very nice
yoshimura always been partnered with suzuki. I remember my buddy back in the day his suzuki had a yoshimura pipe.
sounds like an mt07, mt10, and r1. I love that cross-plane sound!
Just got my GSX-8R a couple weeks ago, same yellow, I've been looking at getting an exhaust and this sounds sick. Nice!
I got one and just put it on. Get one. The video doesn't do it justice at all. It's way louder and way more gargaly than in the footage.
Sounds awesome, really like your garage set up👍👍
that yoshi sounds amazing
Looks amazing, sounds amazing. I love the design
It's not the size that counts, it's the pleasure it brings. Eargasm.
OC: let's see the PAPIO SS yoshi pipe install video.
I have an arrow on my GSX-8S. Love it
Man, that thing sounds SICK.
OC You guys always make the best videos! Its no wonder why Yoshi would send you product to review
Chase makes it easy 😀
OC - Love the sound and the bike. Very nice!
These bikes are fun for a parallel twin. As long as traction control is on you’ll keep the front wheel down.
Sounds AWESOME, did you do anything to the ECU also?
I’ve got a Suzuki GSX-S1000GT 2022 and I fitted a black widow headers with original can and it sounds sorry better than a yoshi 😊

Do you not need to ECU flash with this exhaust system??
i want to buy the bike so i can put the yoshi on the GSX8R - gixxsator (love how you call it out)
whats your video cam bro?
OC. I think it sounds good. I'm going to get it for my 2005 HD Sportster XL1200C, I bet it'll sound okay.
Sounds quality
Man that sounds good
How does it sound like with the db killer in?
Do you have to get a tune with this exhaust?
Yoshi’s are cool but I prefer the lower pitch rumble of the Two Brothers exhaust
Is the sound the same when you only put a yoshimura slip on ? En wat about a delkevic exhaust on the gsx8r ? Greetings from belgium

I also got a fisherman shot with my exhaust i just had to🤣🤣
Great Sound 👍‼️
Does it have to tuned? Would love to be able just to throw the exhaust on and go

What did he do exactly at 13:52 mark I thought he shifted down but gears stayed in place?
3/2 downshift

To improve the sound - yes. For power, not so much.
Check 2 wheel dyno works website, they have the details and the dyno charts.

Does the shop plan on remapping the ecu for this exhaust? I think Yoshi says you don't need to, but was just curious if it felt like it needed it
So, which one sounds better? Yamaha R7 or Suzuki GSX-8R?
Engine break in went out the window lol
I was thinking this also lol
Your voice reminds me of Danny McBride lol. Nice bike 🍻

huh, today i learned that the GSX-8R is a 270* twin. Explains why it sounds like a meatier MT07 lol
The best kind of parallel twin there is!
too bad the cfmoto 450 ss was not there, it could be good for comparison who's the bad ass sounding engine on yoshi pipe!

@@nottawaygarage3683 Sure, but noise isn't an enhancement - more performance is.
The tone is too mid-range for me. I'd choose an M4 or Akrapovic for deep tone. Frankly, the Yoshi Alpha would have produced beefier tones.
