    Great video. Solution Finish is great to restore trim. Have you ever tried their over the top sealant? It works pretty well to add durability.

    • @DetailingMadeSimple
      @DetailingMadeSimple  5 месяцев назад

      Definitely bro 💪. Thank you for watching. Nope I never used over the top. From here traditionally after the first wash just apply a ceramic spray sealant and let it be. Last for awhile.
      Yeah I heard it adds durability downside for over the top is don't we have to wait 12 hours before applying it?

    Also, here's a question for you: Is there anything i can put over new license plates to keep the sun from making the reflective layer peel off? I have had to change my N.H. license plates to new ones, because the sun has beaten down on them over the years and has damaged the reflective layer and made them peel. Would a spray sealant help give them an added layer of protetction? I know, crazy questions right, but i have no one else to ask?Thanks

    • @DetailingMadeSimple
      @DetailingMadeSimple  5 месяцев назад +1

      To be honest I have never thought about that to be quite honest.! LMAO. I would recommend next license plate ceramic coat it. Now its wearing down crazy. I suggest a spray sealant for now.

    • @scootytamra
      @scootytamra 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@DetailingMadeSimple My Focus is 15, the plates are older than that, so i ordered new ones, when the new ones come in i wanted to protect them from peeling again, i know it's a crazy question, just trying to do things to keep my car for as long as i can! I bought my car new in 2008, i know she's old, but can't afford, nor do i want a new car especially with all the tech, my car is simple like i like it. I'll try a spray sealant for the new plates when they come in, that's all i have on hand.Thanks

    • @DetailingMadeSimple
      @DetailingMadeSimple  5 месяцев назад

      Yes it is completely safe. Just ensure to wipe off excess off the paint don't let it try on the paint the whole day!!!

    Soc do you ever follow uu with a coating or their sealer?

    • @DetailingMadeSimple
      @DetailingMadeSimple  5 месяцев назад

      Nope. I just use a ceramic spray sealant after the first wash adds longgevity to it without permanently sealing like a ceramic coating would. I've done my vehicle 2 years ago still looking good starting to show fading again. I'll let it degrade and apply more then seal it with a spray sealant. 💪💪
