If you could please make a video on how you fully detail a vehicle from start to finish. A lot of the products you use I have or will have in the future. Thanks for all that you do and look forward to the next.
I used this product over a year ago. My vehicle has been washed several times and the Turtle Wax trim restorer is still hanging in there. In my experience if you don’t use harsh degreasers or scrub the trim aggressively it will last for a long time. Super easy to apply.
@@laurapalmerTDGE been using 3D products before Mike Phillips joined them. I use them because they are good products. But my main reason is because of my skin allergies. The only 3D product I have an issue with on my skin is 3D POXY. One tap or slight brush up on it. And I break out with hives or bumps. And super itchy. I use long sleeve when applying POXY.
Thank you so much. I have a small comment on the cerakote wipes. I love them but... If you are almost done with an area and you need just a tiny bit then you have to open a waste the entire new towel. And because they are super saturated in the beginning they tend to leave a lot of product in the first portion of the application. I'm thinking that I will pair the cerakote as my main treatment and then maintain with the turtle....
FYI, just spoke to Turtle Wax rep. and he stated that it's not mandatory for 2nd. coat unless you didn't like results. Also, he said they recommend waiting 24hrs. for 2nd. coat of any "Hybrid Solutions products"
Good to know! on the directions on the bottle it says to wait 3 to 5 minutes for second coat... But regardless, I could see that not being necessary because it looked great after the first application!
Since plastic on my car is stained and faded unevenly, in my case the turtle wax inked product is the winer for me. Ceracoate product is durable and darkens up the plastic really good, but it’s acting like clear coat so you still can see color unevenness through it.
Hard to see which is best? The factor for me is durability and because Turtle wax as Sun blockers in this product formula, And a decent price point, Its the one for me😉 Love to see a follow up stream on which one last the longest, Anyway a good demonstration welldone!! 👍👌
I'm going to give this a try. I currently use 303 Aerospace which does a good job protecting plastic but doesn't restore black trim that is already faded.
nice! yeah on pans vid they do state that the turtle wax has some black paint or dye in it so... thanks for doing the comparison & knowing about the paint/dye in the turtlewax, i would prefer the cerakote or 303 cuz i drive a white car!
Just an FYI on the Turtle Wax Graphene, if you get it on something you don't want it on, like your hands ;) it comes off very easily with isopropyl alcohol.
Ive seen they have a pro pack of more wipes but i dont know about just the solution alone.. Thats a great idea though! Ill see if i can find anything out
I know I'm catching this video a year late but now, after SEMA, Cerakote is introducing a new Trim Coat Professional Pack. How about doing a new video about it? Id live to see that.
All of these products are great, but the trim on my truck is a darker gray so anything with a dye in it is a no go. Cerakote Trim Coat is amazing and my go to trim restore/protection product.
Solution Finish is also available in a grey version. But I have also used the original black solution finish on grey trim many times without any issues and it also looks nice.

Thank you. Can all of these be used on new plastics to help keep them looking new, or should they only be used on faded plastics? Appreciate all of your great videos and work.
You can totally use them on new materials, and as a detailer I would suggest it wholeheartedly. It's a lot easier to do preventative maintenance than try to fix problems later, and these have UV protection, which is the biggest culprit in terms of major finish damage. You wouldn't need a dyed product for new plastics (and might not want one if you enjoy the current look of the material), but any would work. I'd suggest either the 303 or Turtle Wax products if you're experienced with these kinds of applications, personally - depending on whether you want to potentially darken the trim appearance with dye or not - and the Cerakote if you're less experienced or just want a quick-and-easy option.
