  • Hey friends, it's been a whirlwind of emotions the past 2 weeks but I've made it to 32 weeks! Every day I can stay pregnant is a good day, even though the circumstances are not at all what I would have hoped for. I hope some of you can share your own Previa stories in the comments below so that others can relate and connect with us!

Your story is so similar to mine. I am currently 33 weeks pregnant today with complete placenta previa (mostly anterior, but some posterior) and have had about 7-8 bleeds thus far. I was admitted at 29 weeks for a week, then bed rest at home, but after more bleeding, am on bed rest in the hospital for the remainder of this pregnancy. I am mentally processing that I’ll have a premie and c-section (instead of a smooth and healthy vaginal birth like my first). Like you mentioned, every day is a small victory! I hope I also make it further along to 36 weeks, but given the frequent bleeds, may be scheduled for a c-section sooner- at 35 weeks. I’m so grateful for the expertise and amazing health care in Canada, and at this specific hospital. Wishing you the best with your baby and hoping for the same for mine ❤

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear it. I know how hard it is to be hospitalized when you also have little ones at home. The fear of the unknown is what really got to me, but yes, every day that you go without another bleed is a small victory. I will keep you in my thoughts as you go through this! I hope that your little one can stay put for as long as possible and that you and your baby are treated with the upmost care!
If you'd like, keep us updated here! I know when I was in this situation I read every story I possibly could and found great comfort in them. All the best to you and your family

I’m currently 29 weeks forward facing placenta previa, I have an MRI scheduled, no bleeding but I’m addicted to learning more about this since there’s not much for me to go on!

So sorry 🙏🏽 Definitely finding a follow up video. I have Complete placenta previa too and im at 30 weeks, i'm very scared and agree with the fact that theres not many videos or statistics on placenta previa. My husband and i don't really know whats ahead of us. My last pregnancy with my daughter was a natural one and 10 years ago when i was 23 so this is all new to me. Thank you for sharing your story for the rest of us🩷

I do have a video detailing everything that happened, if you'd like to check it out, ruclips.net/video/13Md1tIFF9o/видео.html. I am sorry you're going through this! It can be terrifying at times, especially not knowing what will happen or when it will happen. The good thing is you're only 30 weeks! There's still a possibility of it moving! If you'd like to, keep us posted here so that others can read your story as well. Like you, every story I was able to read/watch encouraged me during my pregnancy. Best wishes to you and your family!

Did is move ? 😢 I'm pretty worried I was asymptomatic I'm 30 weeks with placenta covering internal os I guess that's same as placenta previa is there a chance that's it's gonna move by the time of my due date ? My first one was natural I'm very worried 😢

    • @rubyfrench895

@@nousheenshaikh4095 Hia. Do not worry x Ive driven myself crazy over this as everyone told me (with the best intentions i'm sure) that if it was fully covering the cervix like it was that there would be way less chance that it would move, the placenta moved 😄 Im currently still pregnant but in the late stages. The Midwives said it has not moved completely, but moved enough to allow for a natural childbirth. I kind of felt like they pumped the worst possible outcome in front of me so i wasn't in total shock later on, just incase it didn't move. My placenta previa was completely covering the cervix so they diagnosed it as complete previa, and now it has moved to approx 22mm away. (Im@36+6 now, last scan of covering placenta was from 5-6 weeks ago) and its all clear and no longer completely covering🥲
Wishing you lots of luck that yours moves, it does happen and a lot more than we think (I think) Stay positive 💝💝 Lots of love

No, mine never did move. I had an emergency c-section at 35 weeks, which I made a video covering if you want to check that out. The further along you are in pregnancy, the less likely it is to move. That said, it still can!! Only an ultrasound will be able to tell you if it's far enough away from the internal OS. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!! @@nousheenshaikh4095

Mine Moved 🐣 Just in time for delivery.
IT IS VERY POSSIBLE, so many people told me it wouldn't move but it did, and mine was completely covering! Goodluck everyone x
      One natural birth coming up..

Oh my, you poor thing! May I ask, did you have c-secs for all of them? Were you symptomatic with all of them? Placenta Previa is so so tough to deal with once, let alone 3 times! I don't know how you managed it.
