Twist the top wheel around 180 so the tabs face forward. Should be able to plug his front forks in then. And I agree... I was hoping for a massive version .. with 3 movable fingers and more additions .. oh well... Maybe for Demolisher... Which I do want
I love Scavenger’s size! It’s just a shame that the mold and details aren’t the best due to it being a rushed KO. If you compare the head sculpe to the original Studio Series version, there’s a lot of small details missing which is a shame considering the KO is larger.
Great review! I can't wait to get my hands on this and Overload and start experimenting with which versions of the team scale correctly with each other in vehicle mode using the SS, MT and RotF Voyager versions. Good fun!
Also I think with them releasing both at the same time that they rushed -08 just to get both to market at the same time which also explains the misassembled issue which a lot of people are having. This guy is also susceptible to breakage and the joints for combined mode cannot hold him up on all 4's in the front. They should have taken their time like they did with the others. That said I like him, he has added paint details, diecast as well. Knock on wood I had no issues with mine so far except having to swap those top red components around.
The top wheel also has an issue. those two red arms that are supposed to clip into it on Mine were assembled wrong and need to be swapped with each other. If you spin the wheel around and they still do not clip over the clip then they are misassembled and you need to swap them. I also noticed the clip is there in your video you just have to rotate the wheel. And as I said if it still does not clip then those arms are misassembled and need to be swapped.
i think its a better version of the SS after all , its has the white line acroos the vehicle , the red tone looks better and it fist in scale with other studio series figures . i have the leader class but i prefer the mt version
I really hate this release. He is just big and that's it. It's super fragile, annoyingly hard to transform (especially the arm joints), miss-assembled on the top wheel, and compared to MT 07 (which is the nicest to handle IMO) this guy feels so cheap and hollow.
It’s just a boring design, I’m not at all bothered they didn’t do anything to it but oversize it. The Scavenger color scheme didn’t do anything in the film but show up and be apart of Devastator. Now if Mechanical Alliance wants a bit more of people’s money do a Demolishor color scheme and maybe give that one some improvements. I’m only buying a few doubles to incorporate into my Studio Series figures like Long Haul cause that scales perfectly. I’d double dip on a Demolishor.

My clips on the top wheel don’t line up right to the red support arms so I had to spin the wheel and clip it in the back.
Were yours misassembled ? Some had the left and right ones on the wrong side
