Felix Dennis's book is brilliant. It's full of great advice, and it even tries hard to dissuade the readers from trying to get rich, because he believes wealth doesn't bring happiness. How to Get Rich is full of interesting stories from Felix's eventful life, and this makes the book a great read, whether you want to get rich or not.
This book is highly underrated. I hate recommending it to people because of its name. But mahn, it’s a well written book, written by someone who was actually a multi-millionaire businessman, instead of these gurus who never did any business. Lastly, he wrote the book himself! Reading it feels like having a conversation with him. He touched some key points and my favorites are his opinion on “The Search”, which basically tells you how to find the right gold mine to dig from. And then when he talks about obtaining Capital and ‘swimming with the fishes’ when you don’t have enough money. Also, his opinion on Luck was eye opening. I love this book so much and I’m reading it again as I watch this video.
That’s awesome. Totally agree with your comments. I have shared this book with a few other people, but no one else I know has really resonated with it.
