Into the Islands of the Lake Victoria | Takawiri & Mfangano Islands using Waterbus

Recently Dala Adventures ventured into the islands of Lake Victoria. Rusinga, Mfangano and Takawiri Island. The adventure begins at Simbi Nyaima Crater lake which has legendary stories for the people living in the area. Afterwards, we headed to Mbita where we took the water bus to the Takawiri island and explored the island the following day. The last day we exolored the Mfangano island where the main means of transportation in the island is motorbike. Hiked the nearby mountain/hill which apparently has no name.

My friend I have never been to both takawiri and mfangano islands.
Fair trial but here are what is missing:
1. Distance from A to B
2. How many hours
3.. Area of the island altitude and longitude
4. Parts or names of the selections of the island.
5. Whats is available schools, hotels, features , countryside etc, vegetation, hills, wild animals domestic.
6. Kinds of foods to expect, drinks things of interest.
7. People, cultures, vocations, religion, languages. Etc.

Hello Hubert! Yes, There's a Ferry operating between the Mfangano Island and the Mainland-Mbita. Mfangano has roads that cars can use but Takawiri doesn't have roads just footpaths.
