Since I've learned how to communicate with my cat, our relationship changed beyond anything I could ever imagine!!!! I can even call her name and most of the time, SHE ANSWERS ME!!!! Sometimes, she will just meow and not move. And when she needs to be close to me, she comes to me. I don't force her. And when I am trying to sleep, she JUST HAS to lay by my face!!!! She will even head butt me, rub her face in mine, touch me gently with her paw, and will look at me and just stare. She is the most loveable cat I've ever seen in my life!!!! I love her so much. AND she even likes being on a leash with her harness when we are out in the backyard!!! And if she sneaks out, she doesn't go far. Just explores around my house. I leave a door open and she will come back in when she get tired of being out or is hungry or thirsty. My cat is amazing!!!!
Slow blinks- check! Head butting- check! Follows me- most the day Sitting next to me- pretty much yeah. Purring-ofc! Grooming-sometimes Showing belly- both my cats do that :) Raising their tail- pretty much always! Kneading- not always, but sometimes. Soft meows/trills- Yup! Sleeping with me-right by my head!
Great video, but since I just love calico cats and kittens, I was so blown away by the wonderful amazing polka-dotted kitten litter nursing their Mama cat (at 1:38), where four of the babies are little calicos, that I couldn't keep watching the video as I had to stop it to stare at the amazing kittens!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My Norwegian Forest cat Roxie does all these things and I feel honoured, especially as I am not her first "Mummy" She belonged to another lady from being a kitten to being five and a half years old when she was rehomed with me. I "rescued" her from her first home where her Mummy Stacey could see that she wasn't happy due to her being bullied by the two big dogs and two male cats so she rehomed her with me to give her a better life. Roxie is much happier now, living the single cat life and she shows me her gratitude every day. I ❤ her so much.
You forgot one thing on purring. Cats can and will purr when in pain. I believe it helps reduce the pain they're experiencing. I've been with two of my kitties during their last minutes with me and they have purred and I know they were in pain. That's the worst feeling in the world, to watch your angel (s) leaving to cross the rainbow bridge. 😢😢😢

My 🐈 didn't act traditionally for one thing he had no tail and he was a Manx.......he was very smart and very verbal......never blinked slowly while looking @ me or head butt me or rubbed against me plus he never did any mishchevious things around the 🏠......was a good boy but I know he loved me as much I loved him! .....& I surely do miss him every day 💔. Ok just realized an outdoor cat and stray cat are two separate things. If I’m correct are there any tips on here on how to make a stray cat an indoor cat? A kitten looks about seven months old came up to my sister in law in her backyard and about 11:30 Pm when she called me saying she was in good shape and well taken care of. I told her she might be her neighbors or someone close so go knock on couple doors. She didn’t seem to want to but me already with four cats and living one hour away from her told her to hold her until I get there. I got in my car and bolted there. Once I got there she told me she left and walked around the corner as I was a block away. I stopped and got out and not scare away. My sister in law lured her back to her with an piece of ham. I asked her to grab her from underneath her front legs like armpits I read they are easy to handle them that way. She grabbed her by the stomach and the kitten went crazy and I was going to grab her and one second away she let go and ran away. I was thinking she was not gonna come to us any longer. My sister went home after several attempts to grab her. I circled the same block three more times as well as the closer blocks for 20 min and then left. When I was 8 blocks away something told me to go back and I did. I went to the same block and as I was turning left on the block, I could see a small shadow from far away walking down the sidewalk and I was hoping it was her. I was talking to the neighbor during the time my sister was there and they say sometimes they feed her and she goes from house to house begging for food and broke my heart even further and was now determined to get a hold of her no matter what. Even if it took me all night. Anyway so as I approached the sidewalk there was one parking spot next to where she was. I slowly opened the door got out and left open. She ran to that one house bushes but didn’t hide. Thank god I didn’t eat the other piece of ham in my car. I stayed where I was and began to lure her with ham after 5 min of hesitation she finally was at my legs rubbing back and forth until I placed the ham on the floor and once she was eating I slowly went to her arms and finally grabbed her and went to my car and didn’t let her go until my door and windows were all shut. We left the piece of ham on the floor. I drove our selves back home for one hour and I called my dad asking for him to come open my door so I could get out grabbing her with both hands taking no chances of her getting away. Once we we’re inside I took her to the basement and took a better look at her in the light and was nothing like my sister said. She was very skinny her ribs showed, she was very light and her coat was all over the place and dirty. I broke down. I places a large bowl of cat food and she eat like at a buffet. I placed a bowl of water from a gallon I buy my cats and she began drinking for like 2 mins nonstop. I had 4 cats already and my real sister said a friend of her might take her and she’s coming to see her the following week. I said okay but I know she would be better off with me. After three days the kitten was more comfortable not completely. And I gave her her own room and water food toys treats and more. I used the broom and mopped the floor and gave her a small pet house for her to sleep in. She went the first couple nights crying and howling but as much as I couldn’t stand her noise I was not gonna bring her back or let out the house even. The only thing I can think of was staying with her. She’s very friendly. My sister put out on Facebook the info of the kitty to see if someone claimed her but I knew she was stray and even if someone did claim her there’s absolutely zero possibility that I’ll hand her over because of the state she currently is. My sisters friend said she be by to see her and I should still look for another home in case she don’t think it’ll work out. The kitty and I have been bonding for days now and she seems attached to me. That was my final sign. I decided to cancel my sisters friend meeting to keep her and take responsibility for the cat. I have four already what’s one more. I know how this may sound for some people but since my sister in law’s phone call when I was watching tv until now I believe that kitty was placed in my way so I could save her. Maybe god placed our paths to come together. I made an appointment with the vet and taking her there for a full check up. But does anyone know any more tips and how I can make her an indoor cat? She still trying to find her way out and I won’t allow that. The thing is that the kitty doesn’t know this is a good thing happening to her. I want to make her feel safe and comfortable as I possibly can and I appreciate anybody giving me tips on how to do that. Thank you 😊
What you have done for this kitten is great and this is a Blessing for you to keep this kitten. You can do the following which are below: Keep the kitten next to you and pet her as much as possible. Cut a small thin rope and walk step by step so the kitten can chase that. Sometimes, just stand still and take the rope up and down and let the kitten try to catch the thin rope. Every now and then, let her catch and bite the rope as this will encourage her to play more happily with you. If it is still a kitten, you should prefer feeding kitten food under age of 1 Don't over feed her as the kitten may get unwell.Give small portions in her food bowl. Cats can have a special way to come to you. For example, slightly clapping your hands and ask her to come to you. Snapping to get her attention to happily come to you. Call her by her name and ask her to come to you. It's great that you give the kitten food and treats. You should give normal kitten food and water and only after you are done training and playing with the kitten, then you should give a small treat as a reward. Good luck.

My 2 cats do all of the above especially in the morning when we get up once I go to the kitchen they follow me and if I’m sitting on the couch one cat will sit next to me and purr away and the other cat will be on the back on the couch
My Sphinx cat loves me more than anything, she does all this. I love when she kisses me on the cheeks. She’ll sit and have a full on conversation with me. Don’t know what she’s saying but she’s talking her little head off. I love my baby so much.
