I still believe in buying a pick up, it still depends on how you would use it and your lifestyle, is it for everyday driving? For business? For extreme off roading? From here you decide on what to buy. If you are more of a family man and just needs a big cargo space at the back and lives at a city, my take is go for comfort, but if you will use it for business go for Hilux. It really depends on your taste I don't believe in a perfect choice, not all consumers want a techy vehicle, some would still prefer old school. So basically we all have our own tastes, at the end of the day, durability of a vehicle still depends on how we take care of it.
The Nissan Navara Pro 4x is a truly suitable choice for those who value both practicality and aesthetics in a pick-up truck. Excellent review Sir Alex! Way to go!
The fact that mercedes benz used the navara platform in its first ever pick up truck is a testament to the fact that its a good design. Even if the navara platform is already 8 yrs old its still a great platform to build on, the upcoming Mitsubishi Strada is going to be build on the navara platform. Yes many say its the least capable truck in the market because its coil spring suspension but for the majority of us truck owners who very rarely use our pick ups to haul heavy cargo its the best out there in terms of driving comfort. The only thing i dont like about the navara is the slugish automatic transmission.
got and have chosen the Navara vl 4x4 over the new ranger beacause of its practicality, overall value for money with its features and assistance tech. sure the new ranger has more to offer but when I rode on both, i even find the navara better (seating position especially at the back) I honestly hate the dated interior of the Navara when it was launched and compatring to the terra, but when you have it, it ain't bad after all. it grows in you. the advantage of the dated interior for me is that when you go extreme offraoding, it wouldn't be a pain in the ass to clean and most likely less parts to break :)
I am opting for 2 pick up for 2 different purposes and modification, 1 would be the 2023 ranger for family and casual use and the navara for to "to hell and back" activities, utility and setting it up as well for search and rescue purposes for "the big one".
got mine delivered in my garage from nissan dasmarinas last April 17...calibreX in fiery red. Unfortunately saka ko pa lang madadrive after 8 months pag-uwi ko...si komander muna ang hinete sa ngayon. the heck with dated interior as others are saying. Its the most practical..packed with tech and safety features at its price range compared to others. As for me its the most good looking truck out there at the moment (beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say so I'm biased on this)...external look turns head..not the interior.
Our Navara 2020 is undeniably pretty outdated especially the interior but its 360cam is very useful on very narrow roads. The Pro 4x looks good on the outside though!
Very old looking na. Ewan ko ba bat di ginaya interior ng terra since basically same platform. Also an adaptive cruise control would be nice. Kahit mag increase sila ng 50k for that ok lang.
Because Terra or SUV Counterpart is 600,000 to 700,000 more, 1.8m vs 2.5m, ciempre mas maganda dapat ang SUV vs sa pickup, baka ganun mindset at marketing nila.
Let’s be realistic, some (if not most) people who buy pick ups nowadays, bibihira na lang gamitin pang kargahan.
Which model is this? All other reviews I've watched the interior is just copied from pre facelift, except for the steering wheel. This one you have reviewed has the in dash cup holders and the on dashboard 12v and storage tray
Salamat in advance sa sagot!!
Nissan is no more reliable like before, I do own some Nissan car and I can say very disappointed. I rather choose a Mazda or Suzuki instead of a Nissan. Talking 4x4 or 4x2, the Navara is doing okay but there are better such as the Dmax/ BT50 or the Hilux.
@@wong2464that's what Fort is known for. In fact most of the big auto repair shops near me have Ford as their "suki" customers. And you rarely si a Navara most especially Hilux lining up to be repaired. Ford has very poor reliability compared to the Japanese brands.

I think the best best variant on navara will be the calibre x.

I live here in Canada and Nissan and Toyota trucks are well known and sought out compare to Domestic brands like fords and chevys.

Such a good, practical and universal review and v honest, much like the navara. Love from Aus
Its either this or the new ford ranger, but due to the price increase every month and specs difference. I chose the latter

Ranger Wildtrak Astig!
can you do a review of the calibre x 4x2 variant. Thanks and Great Review !
The 2023 model has power adjustable driver's seat.
What's the difference between this & the Frontier Pro 4x?

I want to buy one but the interior dashboard design is very outdate.
First! Great Review Sir.
Thank you!

That's the camera for ADAS (Lane departure warning).
Pls do not overtake on a DOUBLE LINE.
Me Nissan Navarra Is the Best For Wheels
Alex, very good review 👍
How does the new Foton Thunder AT fare against the Navara?
(Very good review of the Thunder as well 👍)
Thanks. They both have advantages. The foton thunder though is in a very different price bracket compared to the pro 4x
Hi Jay, are there updates for the VL 4x4?
No updates as far as i know
@@jaywalkur thanks Jay, btw a comparo of base model 4x4 MT pickups would be nice for the aspiring budget camping guy. 😀
Dba VL ang top of the line?.
This is basically a VL with matte black and other aesthetic imrovements
When to use the differential lock? Thanks

Still Ford Ranger Wildtrak 4x4 2023 is still the best.
Ford - Fix Or Repair Daily😊
@@KenfurVinas typical mindset of a ford “analyst”😂. If ford breaks down - Fix or Repair Daily, if Toyota breaks down, fault of the user. Lol 😂
Dmax or Hilux mas maganda
Ford? Stiff suspension compared to this one

I no fan of Navarra I love the Toyota conquest instead.
Batiag interior oi. Mag Ford nalang guro?
Sige sir para kanunay kas repair shops. 👍
