I'm very average at fighting games, but I play basically all of them. As I bounce between games and try so many characters, it can be a pain trying to find the basic info I'm looking for quickly. This is the exact type of video I want to see every time I try a new game or character. Thanks for that.
A very helpful video! I've been busy all weekend until today when I finally had some time to play the open beta, and this video helped me progress much more quickly than I would have on my own! I really appreciate the combo notations at the top, and the lightning legs--I mean the lightning fast speed in which you were able to convey it!
Thanks and glad I could win you over. Do you recall which smash bros tutorial you are referring to? I'm always trying to improve my guides and would love to take notes
@ShinLad FGC I think you are already doing better videos than most people otherwise I wouldn't have subscribed also now that I'm part of your community once the games out I will definitely try to help your videos because it directly affects me and how I will be bring my game to the next level. @ShinLad FGC I've been binging your content since yesterday. Summery: You are leagues above other content creators in the realm of tutorials. Try thinking about inspiring your viewers with tactics and sharing what makes you passionate about the game and how being competitive is fun. Lastly, the only thing I think you could be better at is organization because if I didn't think you were amazing, I might have skipped out on your other amazing content. IMO you could be setting a new standard. A good idea for you is to make a full 30 minute character breakdown and release that but also create shorts on it to reel people into your content.
@@zaddyxyborg9873 You're too kind. I am interested in making some longer form content when the full game releases and doing what you suggest with the shorts. I'll definitely up my game in self promoting within my own content. Thanks again for comments
If Chun li has throw loops, then she be the only character you need in sf6. They didn’t give it to her cuz then she would be Luke in sf5, except everyone will actually love her.
Same her heavy and medium crouch kicks must only be used to counter or punish cuz you can't do DI out of them. I think have to stick to lights and medium punch only.
Im very fresh in fighting games in general, I always wanted to try out Chun li and Guile, but them being charge characters really kills me. May i ask for an explanation on how you executed the spinning bird kick as if there wasn't any setup?
If i'm interpreting what you're saying correctly. You charge for spinning bird kick during the startup of the normal moves so immediately after pressing S.MP press down then link into C.MP and then press up to cancel into spinning bird kick
@@FreeArk3733 It's something you're gonna have to feel out, think of Hilde's timing on her hold button then release moves in SCIV. Just instead of holding an attack button you're holding the back or down button, then press forward or up + attack button
@@ShinLadFGC And you can build up charge and save it for later? Because I see them instantly do fireballs during the match too. So walking back in general builds you a charge?
@@superiorphoenix8318 You can't save the charge for later. Holding back builds the charge used for Kiko, holding down builds charge for spinning bird kick

Thank you for this guide. I’ve played fighting games for a while now and this version of Chun li is refreshing and fun to learn.

Her AA (d,d+K) is ironically the hardest one for me to do on stick. Doing it from crouching position is painful.

How long do you hold back before you do the fireball?it is the only move i cant do consistently.

I don't understand the yellow arrows in the command list help pls 😅

@@ShinLadFGC Thanks i got it now but it's still pretty hard
that bhp to qcb p combo is way too hard it should be one button to do qcb p imo

immediately
How do you do the OD moves??
Press 2 kicks or 2 punches simultaneously
Serenity Stream is so difficult to use! The input for it sends my fingers into mashing :(
Keep at it, it'll come naturally to you eventually
How do you execute her unique moves? Like the rotational ones I can do but the ⬅️➡️ or ⬇️⬆️ I just can't seem to do right. I can't do her kikoken
You need to build charge so hold back or down for 2 seconds then press forward or up
