Came to say the same thing! Wild waves fit your natural makeup style way better than sleek hair! It takes time, and $ trying out products, Check out Disco Curls, India Batson and Penny Tovar here on RUclips and the Naturally Curly website (unfortunately it has become really glitchy and slow).
Your hair looks really pretty curly! I love the Physician's Formula Organic Elixir. I love that you are 'snobby' about your choices! It means good choices for us! I also purchased the Laura Mercer caviar sticks. Love, love, love them!!
I bought the Nutrogena hydro boost tint from your recommendation on a previous video a few months back, and am LOVING it as my summer "foundation ". It's the perfect amount of coverage, and doesnt melt off in the hot, dry climate of Phoenix. The Elf multiuse sticks are really good too, and I like the bronze shade for a shimmering cream bronzer. I also bought the Loreal plump and shine in Watermelon plump based on your video too, and am really enjoying it. It's the perfect amount of shine and color for summer. I also like the Revlon super lustrous glass shine lipsticks for a medium glossy, watercolor wash of color. I have the shades nude illuminator and glossed up rose, which are really pretty and light. Nude illuminator is more of a honey color, which I've been looking for. I dont typically wear lip gloss because it's a little too shiny, and both the Loreal and Revlon provide the perfect amount of shine and color. As for eyeshadow, I'm still using powder shadows, just because they stay put longer in the heat than creams do. But have been keeping it on the lighter side and using a soft highlighter as my eyeshadow. It's the wet N wild "to reflect" shimmer palette and I'll either use just that, or combined with bronzer or blush for my eye looks. I've also been using many products from Milani this year, and have been loving their baked bronzer and Rose blushes...so pretty as blush and eyeshadow!
Just wanted to say thank you. Your videos have really helped me appreciate and enhance my own natural beauty. I’ve noticed how much less time I spend in the mirror looking at flaws and how much more I smile. Love what you’re doing.
Yea!! Another curly girl! Looks adorable on you! Roll with it girl. And I have to say you are the only makeup guru I trust and listen to. Your recommendations are always on point. Thanks so much!
Shelbey, you look absolutely stunning! I love the curls!! I am really excited to watch this... at my age, I'm always interested in more natural looking options. I just don't like the overly done makeup look anymore. Thank you, my dear!❤
Love your hair! Since watching your channel, I've learned so much. I'm a mature woman & appreciate the tips & simplicity of the looks you present. Thanks.
I discovered L’Oréal coconut plump thanks to you! I just bought my second tube... I was scraping remnants of my first tube with a Bobby pin! I don’t remember the last time I used up a lipstick! It’s such a perfect color, goes with any look. Thanks a million💜
The Physicians Formula foundation is AMAZING it matches perfectly, adds a really healthy look, I've never experienced a formula that blended and camouflaged so well!! My fav drugstore by far!! ❤
Cute curls! When I want a natural and super-quick look, I like the Physician’s Formula Airbrushing Pressed Powder SPF 30 in Creamy Natural just to even out my skin tone. I also use it to apply SPF over makeup. Just having two Milano Baked Blushes (Luminoso and Rose d' Oro) covers any palette. The Essence Sun Club powder is a lovely matte bronzer. My favorite lip product is the Neutrogena MoistureSmooth color sticks (Classic Red and Soft Strawberry). Beautiful colors, medium coverage, and are easy to apply. They have a little bit of shine, and don’t bleed and smudge. I think the red is the right amount of brightness. If I could only have one eyeshadow palette from the drugstore, it would be one of the elf Bite Size ones.
*Hey Shelby. I want to tell you about a lipstick that I don't love on my lips but as a cream blush, it's GORGEOUS. It's the MAC lipstick in the shade 'CB 96' which I'd never heard of. I put it on and thought it was nice on the lips but I wiped it off on the back of my hand and noticed how beautiful it is sheered out. I put it on my cheeks and it's glorious.*
Physicians formula is expensive here in Singapore. It’s $20+ almost $30 for the blush here. And only a handful of shops are available. I might as well splash additional $$ for something like body shop.
Hi, Could you do a tutorial on how to make face makeup last under a mask? I hate heavy products, using Neutrogena skin tint right now. Any tips would help
Since the Matte and Poreless is so inexpensive, I am willing to buy 2 shades. I mix the matte and poreless with the dewy smooth version. Totally customizable to how much/little dew you want and you can change it up daily! In the winter I go go with a roughly 50/50 ratio, in the summer I go a bit heavier on the matte...😁
Great video! LOVE the natural hair! Glad you said where to find the Queenship shadow! I have to say I have looked in every drugstore when I go in and never could find them! Ordered Lush just now!!
Shelbey , love your curls as a fellow curly gurl. Also, I LOVE the Sephora brand & Ulta brand eye shadow sticks with the one caveat for both, work fast! Love this video as always.♥️♥️♥️
Love the look b you are wearing. I just got the Elf version of shadow sticks. Used them for the first time today. Was so easy to use. Took no time to do my eyes. And it lasted over 12 hours. Two shades worked well together. Very nice and affordable.
I did not like the elf powder. It made my skin feel dry. I tried it for a week and I just could not make it work. I know you always suggest tinted powders but I'm loving the wet and wild photo focus translucent setting powder right now. Can't get enough of it. Thank you for mentioning Milani lip glosses! Those glosses are my ride or die lip glosses, they don't get enough love in the beauty community.
Totally love your hair! I too have naturally curly hair. I always wear mine curly. But the show stopper is your whole look today! So so pretty and summer like look! Holy smoking hot! Love the tones, eye look and lips. Always there for your videos. Loving all you bring! And I also love that you are so critical in your reviews. Not harsh but truthful. Gotta appreciate that. Saves me money!! Thanks!!!!! 💓🔥🔥
Great Choices Shelby! The Summer is Finally Here! And with masks -Less is More! I still put my favorite lipstick on-Only to Cover them Up!! Super Drugstore Finds!! Thank You! ❌⭕️😘💋
I'm overhauling my makeup philosophy because of your channel. Just ordered my first 4 LM Caviar Sticks! Could you do a video on undertones and what you consider your undertone to be. Also, which undertones does peach vs coral vs pink vs berry etc suit best. Thank you!
Your hair’s so pretty:) I like a lot of the products you’ve mentioned. Milani’s Soft Focus Glow is a great multi-use product. One of my fave lip product is Revlon’s Lip Balm Stain specifically in the shade “Romantic”. So pretty!! Thanks, chickadee🍃🌸
I can’t tell you how happy I am to have found your corner of yt Shelbey 💓 Been subbed for a few months and probably binged a lot of your content bc it’s, like, actually helpful LOL
Your hair looks so cute! I will try the lip products you talked about they look right up my alley! Iam more of a high end girl (my collection is mostly Hourglass, bareminerals, Charlotte tilbury, Mac and becca but the nyx butter glosses are still one of my HG lip products.
As crayon eyeshadow, I live in Julep's Eyeshadow 101 in the color Stone. I have other colors in this range, but they aren't matte, so I don't wear them.
Definitely going to get that foundation and concealer today! And maybe that lip gloss too! I love these kinds of videos. It’s nice to have everything in one video haha
Dear Shelbey, thanks for the all useful videos. I personally have a problem with fitting undertones of light foundation/bb creams etc. to my neck and body (i spot it on other people too). Feels like 99.9% of such products have pink/grayish undertones. As for me, all reccomended by you products are like that. Could you please reccomend some affordable light foundation products with warm, yellowish undertone for the lighter skin tone.
I'm gonna have to try the PF elixir. The Neutrogena hydro boost looked awfully dry, heavy, and makeupy on my slightly mature, dry skin. I tried several prep n set product combos and couldn't make it work. Maybe the PF elixir would sit better on my skin.
I live your hair. Its the same texture I have when I let it dry naturally after a shampoo/ shower. Please do a video on haircare. Love your video. Irony is, lipsticks in these times of wearing masks are kinda beat the purpose of it 😬😉🙃
I tried the Missha BB Cream the other day and I loved it sooo much. Have you ever tried that one? It was amazing on my nose/pores/lines and that is what I always look for. Besides I thought it was nicely buildable and looked very natural. Lots of love from Germany
Have you tried the foundations by Shiseido ? I would like to know your views them . Also Estee Lauder double wear Soft Matte hydra makeup And Bobbi Brown foundations! Hope you try them soon and share your experience!
Ooo your hair looks so beautiful like this! You should totally give the curly girl method a try! ^_^
Manes by Mell is also good! (but she doesn’t really follow the curly girl method tho)
Selena Rivera I love Mel! ❤️🙌
I agreee
Ride that wave girl! It’s sassy and suits you. Love it.
The Maybelline Fit Me loose powder is my holy grial, it sets my under eye concealer perfectly without drying it, and i can use it even in winter
There’s something about this hair... makes you seem glowy and happy. Love it!
Love when people do drugstore affordable stuff. It is realistic to be able to obtain and appeals to the majority of viewers
I actually like your hair. I fought straightening mine for years. Finally our hair texture is in fashion. Lucky you.
I like your natural hair - I think it suits your personality.
I purchased the Neutrogena Radiant Cream Concealer based on your recommendation and I absolutely love it! Thank you so much!
Woooow I had no idea you had curly hair! It looks great!! You should wear it like this more often
I love the Neutrogena radiant cream concealer and Wet and Wild's photofocus dewy foundation. It's great coverage for my dry and mature skin.
Your hair looks really pretty curly! I love the Physician's Formula Organic Elixir. I love that you are 'snobby' about your choices! It means good choices for us! I also purchased the Laura Mercer caviar sticks. Love, love, love them!!
Love hearing that!
Your natural hair is so cuteeee Shelby!🥺 So beachy!
Thanks so much!! xo
Your hair looks pretty.
Try curly girl. It will help bring out the wave.
Lush R' N B works also very well

Elf came out with more shades in monochromatic blush sticks and I really like the bronzed cherry shade it looks right up my ally
Love seeing your hair naturally styled!
Totally agree. With a little CGM, your curls will come out in no time. Love your hair!
Just wanted to say thank you. Your videos have really helped me appreciate and enhance my own natural beauty. I’ve noticed how much less time I spend in the mirror looking at flaws and how much more I smile. Love what you’re doing.
LOVE your natural hair!! I’ve spent SO much $$ trying to get my poker straight hair to look like that!
Your hair is gorgeous. Beyond gorgeous.
Yea!! Another curly girl! Looks adorable on you! Roll with it girl. And I have to say you are the only makeup guru I trust and listen to. Your recommendations are always on point. Thanks so much!
Cant wait to get my hands on the covergirl sticks. The milani lip plumper glosses are soooo good!
Thanks.
Yes to natural hair!!! Curly girl method all the way!! Been doing it for 2 years and love it!!!!
Aw, your natural waves are VERY cute!
This Fit Me line base is really good!
I discovered L’Oréal coconut plump thanks to you! I just bought my second tube... I was scraping remnants of my first tube with a Bobby pin! I don’t remember the last time I used up a lipstick! It’s such a perfect color, goes with any look. Thanks a million💜
Wow Shelbey! I love your hair- it complements your makeup! You look super pretty!
Thank you!
Excellent video. I love your natural looks videos the best and at this time it’s great to have some less expensive products to get! Thank you!
Yes to natural hair Shelbey! You look gorgeous 😊
Thank you!
The Physicians Formula foundation is AMAZING it matches perfectly, adds a really healthy look, I've never experienced a formula that blended and camouflaged so well!! My fav drugstore by far!! ❤

I wonder if it suit oily skin.
Shelbey, I tried the Neutrogena skin tint and I'm loving it!! I love your natural hair!! It's beautiful but if you like it better straight go for it!
Glad you're enjoying it! :)

I am a minimalist at this point with my makeup (10 mins tops 😄) so I enjoy your suggestions bc all I want is a fresh, light base with a glow
Physicians formula is expensive here in Singapore. It’s $20+ almost $30 for the blush here. And only a handful of shops are available. I might as well splash additional $$ for something like body shop.
I love love loveeee the ELF potted cream blushes!!!!
Very nice natural hair and makeup to, thank you for your tips.

Sandy Wilkerson, I like the Elf shadow sticks too. I sure wish they'd expand their color range!
I haven’t seen one video from you that I haven’t learned something and enjoyed it.
I can't remember if I tried the Wet n Wild powder but generally I like a bit of tint to my powders. So glad you like the milani glosses!!
I agree the Milani glosses are the best out there right now. Also, they absolutely do plump the lips over time.
If u want more defined curls use the denman brush 👌
Sigh. I'd love to try some of those Physician's Formula products but sadly they don't have this brand (or many others!) available in Australia!
Have you tried the L’Oreal Age Perfect Serum Foundation & Concealer?
I loooooove your natural hair, it looks really good on you :)
So kind - thanks!
Totally love your hair! I too have naturally curly hair. I always wear mine curly. But the show stopper is your whole look today! So so pretty and summer like look! Holy smoking hot! I have seen the CoverGirl QueenShip eyeshadow stick at Kroger’s

I love my Essence tinted brow gel! I have heard it is a dupe for Glossier Boy Brow (I wouldn’t know! Glossier is out of my price range!)
Love your hair curly !!
Some interesting products, which I'd love to buy. Now to see if any of them are available in the UK!
Love the wavy hair, gorgeous 😍
I just found the shadow sticks at my local Walgreens! (And got 5 shades...)
Love your hair!
Beautiful look on you
I loved this video (as always) and your natural hair texture is gorgeous! ❤❤❤
LOVE your hair like that!!

*If you get a set of the Mally Beauty shadow sticks from the QVC website, they're actually less expensive than the drugstore ones.*
Gosh, that's great to know! Thanks for passing that along. I'm not a QVC person but will definitely look into that.
Love the curls!! Will you review Undone Beauty? I’d love to hear your thoughts on their line.
I will have to find those covergirl sticks online. I live to far from the city.
