I highly recommend the new Nudestix champagne-toned highlighter! For some reason I feel like it’s less sticky than Hey Honey and WAY more suitable for more skin tones. It’s noticeable in the most beautiful way on the skin
I agree about straightener "curls" - they always look bent, as if you slept on them, and the term "beachy waves" should be "wonky waves"! I also haven't found one CT product that impresses me, and the Thrive mascara was a dud. That said, I love the skinny brush on the BeautyPie mascara reviver (which I use as my regular mascara), and their cream eyeshadow sticks.

I love how honest you are about products. That being said I want to tell you about one company I will never purchase from again ( that you recommended) and that is Make Up Forever. I purchased products in April and I'm still trying to get the products from the company. They took my money but still NO PRODUCT. So beware of purchasing anything from Makeup Forever!
I thought I was all alone in “shut the hell up city” because I purchased the em cosmetics blush in vintage rose from her new shades just released and I was so disappointed. I’ve only tried it once and you’ve convinced me to give it another try, but it’s no Daniel Sandler and that’s for sure. You will always look beautiful even with a full face of things you don’t love. 💜

Watched this video thinking O my goodness, on a good day my makeup wouldn't look this good. You could do your makeup in chalk and still look gorgeous. I try so hard to copy your looks but I look odd with my face done and barely there eye makeup. Such a beautiful woman x

Those Pixi sticks (no pun intended) are so disappointing. You’re the one who turned me on to the LM and Covergirl sticks and I recommend those from the rooftops to anyone who will listen. They last ALL day.

Em Cosmetics blush = emperor has no clothes. I feel like they were more relevant before so many other companies came out with their own liquid blushes that are just as pretty or prettier, cheaper, better packaged, and easier to get ahold of. I didn't hate them but felt like for the time and effort and money, I should be more wowed.

*OK, Shelby, I see what the problem is with the blush. With the Em Cosmetics blushes they are so much better when applied DIRECTLY ONTO THE CHEEKS and blended out with a brush or fingers. You are uded to applying cream blush with a brush from the back of your hand. Since these are a serum, first off. They WON'T mess up your base, they'll look much more beautiful if you apply them directly onto your cheeks. If you put it on the back of your hand and then use a brush you won't see them as they are!*
I had a problem with the new CT foundation as it just didn’t look good. I do like the eyes but I know you worked to,get this look. The lips are a definite yes. You are right products don’t perform the same on everyone. The liquid blushes I am not sure about except the Adam Sandler ones as I really love them. Thanks 😊

I actually really love the glossier skywashes! Maybe it's just the colour I have but I find it gives the perfect wash of colour that creates a little subtle eye definition without looking like "makeup". It's perfect just blended on its own with some mascara or I'll use it as a base and add a little extra shadow in the crease for more dimension! Just goes to show that everyone has different preferences :)
Honestly another cream blush I really love is from Believe beauty at dollar general! I was so shocked but they are so pretty. Only two shades though so that kind of sucks.

A great dupe for the CT Wonder Glow is the WetnWild Dewy Lumineux Primer. I love it and it looks exactly like the wonder glow, at least on camera lol. And it's like $6 lol. You can even use it by itself just on the high points as a highlighter. I like to pair it with the Elf putty primers. Its great

I don't know if you'll see this comment, but i found that I LOVE the CT airbrush foundation when I use a small amount and use my fingers like it's a lotion. The warmth really makes it look like skin. Give it a try!

I LOVE the Watercolours. I didn’t mean that I don’t like liquids in general but I will usually pick a cream over a liquid. As a matter of fact, I think the DS Watercolours are one of the few, possibly only, liquid blushes I truly love.
I also love the Daniel Sanders watercolor blushes at outstanding. I love them.

I have to say thank you for someone finally speaking up and saying something about the two Charlotte Tilbury product. Neither one of them work for me and her first foundation the magic foundation looked horrible on me. I really only like her lipsticks and her lip liners. Most of other products are way too expensive. I’m not spending $56 for four eyeshadows.
I tried, I tried so hard with the Airbrush Flawless. It was like no matter what I did, I couldn’t get it to look good on me. And I agree... the scent was weird and just added insult to injury when it didn’t look good. Lol

I found that I am allergic to several of Tilbury's products. But I love her star Aura palette and her lipstick colours are good, even if the packaging and fragrance and texture and longevity are cheap.

Your hair looks ADORABLE!! And - - I can't speak for anyone but myself, but YES! I have things in my collection (and I admit that once I hit three drawers of a dresser and two smaller drawers in a lingerie that I DO have a collection) that I should probably THROW away. I don't use, don't want and will do bad, bad, bad things to my sensitive skin. AND I am so with you on the CT products. The only thing I use of CT is Magic Away concealer - - it's EPIC, doesn't crease and LASTS!~ It could also be the Laura Mercier powder that I set it with, but I still love it. For video ideas: update on your senstive skin care; ALL Laura Mercier products video (LOVE ME some LM); Florence by Mills - it's actually good stuff; PLouise Make-up. "The Crankies" happens to everyone....and considering what is going on - you're entitled. Stay safe and well.

Other than the Daniel Sandler Watercolour blushes I have to agree with you about liquid blushes. D/S is the master of blush and those babies work every time... but I also find they have a relatively short shelf life whereas cream blushes can last a lot longer.
Ohhhh va va voom. So sultry today!! I decluttered three loose powders today. One because it was scented and made me itch, and the other 2 looked cakey.
Dude what is even happening with Bite? The discontinued their old lip formulas but didn’t have the new ones ready yet. Except they never stopped doing the custom Lip Lab and I assume that uses with old non-vegan formulation?

*Hi Shelby! You should try mixing your Physician's Formula Silk Foundation Elixr with a little of that Charlotte Tilbury foundation. You might have a winning combo. If I hate a foundation, I'll mix it with something I think is opposite, or will enhance it. Usually works out well for me.*
Would really enjoy and appreciate some videos addressing make up looks for eyes in this new norm of mask wearing. I wear them daily and I heavily moisturize my face, no foundation. I play up my eyes as I also wear glasses and eye protectors, so I count on eye makeup to bring life to my face. Help, thanks. I adore your channel.

How much pigment do those Lilah b lip oils have? I want one of the nude shades but I'm starting to steer away from highly pigmented lip products
The darker colors are pretty pigmented. The Nude is lovely and the consistency is amazing if you can get past the packaging which can be a little messy. I have three and love them all, especially when my lips are dry.

Also I have a hard time with the straightener curls when my hair is short. With long hair there is no other way (IMO) to curl.
That Hey Honey highlighter just disappears on me. I look at myself after I apply it and say, wait, did I actually put that stuff on? I love that Neutrogena radiant primer. I’ve hardly found a primer that keeps my dry skin hydrated for hours.
Hey queen!!! Samesies on the CT airbrush foundation! I’ve found tho that I can use it with the light wonder (to get better use out of it) to add a touch more coverage on top of the light wonder! I’ll add a teeny bit here and there on top of the light wonder to help in the areas I need more coverage. I hope that helps! ♥️

Shelbey, why don’t you curl your eyelashes? I think it would make such a difference! I also have straight lashes and since I started curling them, my mascara looks a lot better than if I don’t curl them 😊
