Timothy Dalton was always Eon’s favourite and even invited to be the successor of Sean Connery’s departure in 1969. He rejected the role as he considered himself too young at the time. Okay some observations from a Bond fan: 1) Scandinavia offers great places to film bonds, good choice also for future films 2) Excited to hear the director+cast & Craig are all aboard! 3) Bond 24 announcement was badass, hopefully this formula can be followed for Bond 26 4) When you start filming consider shooting material for a trailer that will not be shown in the movie 5) Damn that hostess was smoking hot, I would definitely want to take her for a dinner in a moving TGV train
You have to be kidding me the right formula was started by the late great Albert R Broccoli and Harry Saltzman in having lavish press conferences highlighting the cast for the next film with world press hanging off every word. How far removed have the producers come from those days? The whole live stream of 20 minutes with many cuts to past film footage which we all have seen before total waste of time and not worth the wait of nearly 5 years. Love the comment Daniel about the DB5 Aston Martin " If you had the money you would buy one " Come on already. How many millions of dollars are you worth? Really. I put it like this apart from it being a great idea to go back and film in Jamaica and Im all for it. I tend too think Producers also had a secondary reason Jamaica long way from World Press lets do a short live stream and keep it controlled then we do not have to answer too many questions about if this is Daniels last 007 movie and we can cherry pick Facebook audience questions. Big picture in my opinion Daniel has done four films so far two are very good the first and the third. The second was appalling and Spectre was average at best with some great moments but no real flow. I hope and pray this one Bond 25 will be Craig's Swan Song. Judging on the Live stream its going to be a up hill battle. Final thought Barbara get back to how your father approached the films the reason they are a success is because people, the audience want to watch them and because going to a James Bond movie was like having a out of body experience for around 120 minutes show casing different countries, cultures and escapism . Since 1996 they have become focused on CGI less doing and more creating on a computer Fans of this film series feel cheated especially when other action films and some private films coming out of Netflix and Amazon are doing far better work than on the Silver screen these days.
So many good points!!! The old classic Bond has been dead for a LONG while now. Die Another Day was the CGI heavy film not Tomorrow Never Dies and the movies there after.. They changed the character too much as well. Yes Bond is emotionless at times but not for 2hrs straight for 4 films!!! The old needs to come back and listening to these 15 year olds who know nothing of Bond other than Daniel Craig as reason to keep turning out trash is ticking off the people who actually buy Bond things other than just the movie tickets... EON needs to remember what made it great...
Real Soundattacks he'll be there. When they asked the director who is returning he clarifies the question as 'officially returning' they definitely have a secret returning cast member from that response
After getting a taste at what they're up to here - pretty much more of the same - I'm now entirely focused on Christopher Nolan reinventing, writing and directing Bond 26.
Ricardo Cantoral: Nolan has already met with producers Broccoli and Wilson in the past. But yes, such a turnaround, needed to inject some freshness into the franchise, remains a long shot.
Even though I learned who some of the new cast members are and appreciated the brief interactive Q & A session (Steve in US), I thought it was much ado about not so much. Stay tuned for more GMA coverage on Friday... which split-screened "Bohemian Rhapsody" clips too much during Rami Malek's interview. Just sayin'.
@@MrTardis11 I really don't know why folks dislike Knock Knock. I enjoyed Keanu's acting and misery in the film. I just didn't like the ending but it was a good film for me. Felt sorry for Keanu, hihihi

There was actually some good reveals here all hidden by a dreadful production. Rami will make a great villain, I'm glad the love interest will carry over from the last film and best of all Felix Lighter is back along with all the MI6 characters. EON should bury this video and re-launch the information when they have a name.
This movie sounds like an absolute trainwreck. Any time they try to forcefeed us the whole "Bond is finally settling down because he fell in love" bullshit it fucks everything up.
@@treez439 BTW, did anyone see Broz in The Foreigner, directed by GoldenEye's Martin Campbell? PB shoots an informant in the leg when they won't play ball, and shrieks "This is me being nice!".
I hope so. But I can say that it was worth a try for Spectre, but hopefully this time they can do better. Plus, they were given enough time to work on the script, so there's a big possibility that this one will succeed.
Ian Fleming never thought his character would be THIS popular. The key missing from the Bond saga is that Bond should be a person who gets replaced by another orphaned military man just like him and takes on the name of James Bond in memory of the first real James Bond of WW2 fame. This way we could finally have a black James Bond which would be cool.
The Bond Codename Theory is one of the stupidest ideas ever. James Bond is an incredibly detailed character, informed by the death of his parents, and later the murder of his wife only just after their wedding. In Craig's Bond films, the equivalent to this is the tragic death of Vesper (although that's in the novels as well). James Bond's parents have the surname Bond, and Skyfall is the Bond family estate. So for all this to be meaningless, as James Bond is an alias handed down to agents robs the character of such much great significance and insight created by Ian Fleming himself. For supposed fans to come and rob that, shows ignorance beyond belief. There would be nothing wrong in having a Black MI6 agent who goes off on cool missions, kicks ass, and is suave and sophisticated, but he couldn't be called James Bond, as that is the character I've described above.
Rumour has it Bond tracks down the sound guy for cocking this up.

I honestly thought they had the builders in, then I realised it was reverb!
It ends up being Tracy 2
Thank god Daniel Craig is Bond and not the mainstream social media favorites with pretty boy faces incapable of commanding any respect let alone intimidating grown men.
Would have been funny if they had gotten Steve Coogan as Alan Partridge to moderate the Live Reveal.
Just cast Steve Coogan as Bond.

Where are traslatios? I waiting for DVD.
How could Daniel not have the money to buy an Aston Martin DB5? He could buy the whole boutique and a garage to accommodate all the cars
E O yeah that surprised me as well, I’m sure he was joking.
A new Bond film gives me life.
Okay some observations from a Bond fan:
1) Scandinavia offers great places to film bonds, good choice also for future films
2) Excited to hear the director+cast & Craig are all aboard!
3) Bond 24 announcement was badass, hopefully this formula can be followed for Bond 26
4) When you start filming consider shooting material for a trailer that will not be shown in the movie
5) Damn that hostess was smoking hot, I would definitely want to take her for a dinner in a moving TGV train
Is point 5 a euphemism? What happens at dinner on a moving TGV?
Did the host just invite crowds in Norway and Italy to seek out the Bond production and watch filming? haha
Filming in Norway is already done too.
Yeah twice! There's a reason why movies use fake titles when on location :-)
That was good. He's to the final bond for Danny. He use to live in my town of Prescot Lancs. He's scouse.
No Title? No Christoph Waltz :(
Real Soundattacks he'll be there. When they asked the director who is returning he clarifies the question as 'officially returning' they definitely have a secret returning cast member from that response
Real Soundattacks he needs to carry on playing blofeld
I don't want to see him return. Get a new actor and give Blofeld a proper re-introduction. None of this crap about being brothers or fake deaths.
@@ricardocantoral7672 he Made the Pain on Bond so we need him back

@@TheBadElf that sounds like shit
After getting a taste at what they're up to here - pretty much more of the same - I'm now entirely focused on Christopher Nolan reinventing, writing and directing Bond 26.
Thankfully, that's never happening.
Ricardo Cantoral: Nolan has already met with producers Broccoli and Wilson in the past. But yes, such a turnaround, needed to inject some freshness into the franchise, remains a long shot.
Christopher Nolan?😳🤯NO!
She did a Good job the presenter, not the easiest of circumstances!
Not sure why. It was all under EON's control. Their PR event. Think they could have organised it better. It's not war reporting.
Disappointed with the no title..... Spectre had!
The Ana girl is very lucky. From Knock Knock in 2015 to a 007 film!
A.A Ekundayo well she was a main part in Blade Runner 2049 which was a bloody masterpiece
Knock Knock is a stupid film but so funny, Ana De Armas is hot in it
@@MrTardis11 I really don't know why folks dislike Knock Knock. I enjoyed Keanu's acting and misery in the film. I just didn't like the ending but it was a good film for me. Felt sorry for Keanu, hihihi
RAMI MALEK CONFIRMED!!! But...NO TITLE YET?!?! Ouch....
Daniel Craig looks even more handsome than before!
He has grown into it. He looks more grizzled now.
Yes Miss MoneyPenny there is always room for one more
Can't wait till it is in the movies!!!! Big 007 fan !!!!
I think Fukunaga more British or European than his American version.I hope he to be like Cy Endfield Anthony Mann Stanley Kubrick Richard Lester Sidney Lumet based American on British
There was actually some good reveals here all hidden by a dreadful production. Rami will make a great villain, I'm glad the love interest will carry over from the last film and best of all Felix Lighter is back along with all the MI6 characters. EON should bury this video and re-launch the information when they have a name.
People saying this video was a waste of time....Ana De Armas's LEGS !
Hype for this movie!!
I'M SO READY FOR BOND 25!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💋💋💋💋💋💋❤💋❤❤💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
We can’t hear Michael!
I hope the action scene are well directed we'll see.
Novembre!!♥️♥️🇮🇹
Always a hard choice, because everybode wants to be in a James Bond movie.
This movie sounds like an absolute trainwreck. Any time they try to forcefeed us the whole "Bond is finally settling down because he fell in love" bullshit it fucks everything up.
Ana de Armas es perfecta 😍
I guess have to wait until the press conference for the title of the film
Bring back pierce Bronson back as bond
I'd be up for an older Brosnan in the role. He's got a lot of grit these days. And people love the guy. Perfect mix of light and dark.
@@treez439 BTW, did anyone see Broz in The Foreigner, directed by GoldenEye's Martin Campbell? PB shoots an informant in the leg when they won't play ball, and shrieks "This is me being nice!".
Will there eventually be a title ?
Hope its better than Spectre?,that was a disaster!
IDK, the white cat did a pretty good job.
It wasn't that bad. It was alright, especially in comparison to quantum of solace
Well damn! I'm still waiting for them to come up with a title to Bond 25!
Bringing back old traits and bringing in new faces. Ensure that Daniel Craig's last shot hits the mark. Ms. Broccoli. Mr. Wilson. 👌🏻
Epic hype!!
I think thats the point not to reveal anything....keep us surprised.....I like it that way......
Rami Malek kept his promise……
Have seen every one and will see this, of course. Not quite sure when tho...
You guys sure are bold making announcements now! I hope people actually left some space in their brain to remember James Bond!
