Daniel Lara ... what happens to the times we did go out and learn a shuvs it while trying to do it... Nowadays kids sit in front of their computer or their smartphones looking up how to do it
I was just trying to learn how to shove it and then I saw this pop up in my notifications I will watch this and hopefully it will help me thanks Carlos you’re such a great teacher
Carlos is an amazing coach!!! He shows deep understanding to the physics as well as body movement in relation to each trick and is much more articulate than people give him credit for.
This video helped me land my first shove it today. Thank you Carlos. After watching every other video I could find, this one stood apart for the way Carlos was able to break it down and show the progression from carpet skating to landing it for real. Seriously, this instruction is so much more clear than the other Braille videos on shove its largely because of the way he broke it down for Janise who's also learning. Seeing him correct her mistakes and encourage her success was exactly what I needed.
he's being a total professional, stand up guy. props to him for keeping his cool. I'd be tempted to flirt back with all those body language hints she's throwing at him LOL.
Professional means she gets paid to compete. her rates are proportionate to her skill level, think of it like hiring artists from fiverr, not everyone is gonna offer $10k museum worthy pieces, you get your $50 decent illustrators too. Edit: Spelling stuff.
I've done thousands of shove its (including 360,540,fakie and straight, and every version nollie) and pressure flips of all kinds, and I still actually learned something from this video. Thumbs up!
Hi braille, i started skating last year and before i used to pretty much go to school come home and never go out side, but then I remembered about you guys and i started learning and I've been skating almost every day for the past year and a half, I can land ollie, front and back 180, shuvit, pop shuvit, almost front shuv, and i can do lots of ramp trick (i can't remember the names)
ITS AWESOME THAT YALL ARE HELPING TEACH OTHERS HOWEVER I PERSONALY TAUGHT MYSEKF HOW TO DO ALL THE TRICKS I KNOW JUST SAYING PEOPLE CAN LEARN BY THEM SELF
very nice Jenise, great progression. And Carlos is an amazing teacher. He should do a whole video on teaching how to land on the tricks and be vunerable, it's the hardest to figure out as a beginner with hangtime.
for getting teached by carlos I need to fly to the westcoast of the states at first. a mad long trip that would be :D luckily I got skateboarding made simple as a suggorate. thank you very mucho. 😘
Thanks to you I landed my first shove it today and pop shove it as well!!! But only once the pop shove it. This video really helped me with my feet position!!
Yo I landed my First shove it today. My bord was always in front of me, and the carpet tutorial helped me to make the little step to Land on the board! Also turning the left arm helps me to lead the board with the left foot. Thank you guys and thx carlos, great teaching!
I also found that when your back foot scoops in a circular motion (i.e. like a strawberry milkshake motion), closer to the dip of the tail, makes it easier to shove it and land it, as it allows you to use less effort to scoop. It also shifts the boards pivot point to the centre of the board not the back truck. :)
This was great. The last shuvit tut I watched didn’t really emphasise the jump forward aspect. They mentioned it in passing but I spent a lot of time practicing wondering why the board kept going out in front.
Hey I think you guys should explain foot motion more detailed like this if possible! The concept with the carpet was insane and improved my shuv its’ fast. Whenever I start a sesh I do a couple of those carpet jumps and it always helps recalibrating my balance and direction with the shuv it thank Carlos 🙏🏽
Carlos is like that one teacher who spends the whole 45 minute class explaining how to do that 1 simple math problem in 45 and a half completely different steps when it can be done in 2 steps and the whole class is fully aware of that and have already finished the math problem 43 minutes ago. Not that it's a bad thing though.
I really love you guys so much and I watch you all the time and tomorrow I’m heading for Cali and going to Fremont and I really hope you guys are there!!
God damn... That would be my biggest dream to come in the US and spand a day with Braille Team ! I follow the channel since 3 years and its Always same positive vibes ! Support from France !
