These haven't worked for me... I'm trying to connect a HOBO microstation (H21-002) to my PC with a Startech USB to RS232 Serial Adapter cable. For some reason the HOBOware software doesn't detect the device when connected. I've updated my drivers and tried a few different others than the latest version (supposedly drivers that are adapted to the Startech connector). If comeone has ever run into a similar problem (I know it's very specific), I would love some tips or solution ideas, thanks!

Solved PL2303 issues (Prolific USB to Serial Drivers) Windows 11 for communications with the CELESTRON NEXSTAR+ & STARSENSE HAND CONTROLLERS. I had similar problems with PL2303 issues (Prolific USB to Serial Drivers) Windows 11 for communicating with the CELESTRON NEXSTAR+ & STARSENSE HAND CONTROLLERS. Standard USB-A PORTS on computers did not recognize the drivers and were unable to establish a connection using for connecting the USB-A to USB-B Mini Lead to the HAND CONTROLLERS. The PL2303 v408 Driver for Windows 11 problem was immediately solved when I attached a USB-C Adaptor with USB-A Ports to the same computer and connection of the same lead to the CELESTRON NEXSTAR+ & STARSENSE HAND CONTROLLERS. The USB-C Adaptor & USB-A Ports were immediately recognized by the Drivers and allowed perfect communication. Kind Regards, Peter Osborne Australia
Hello, I'm facing an issue. Yesterday I was working on Photoshop suddenly laptop gets slow down and then stuck after the restarted showing a Blue error message from windows. I've tried to restart but showing a Hard Disk Issue detected at the start of Bios saying run Self Diagnostics Test I've run it but not fixed. Then I've attached the Hard Disk Externally using an External case It's Connected to the computer but taking so much time to read data to show up. I'm copying files to another system but some of the files are not copying stuck in the middle and some stuck at the before ending the copying please can you help me how do I fix this. I want them to copy to safe place then want to reformat the hard disk.

On my brand new pc, there is no old driver to go back to. And the new drover gives the headache. I am trying to rigramme a couple of old HT's made by KENWOOD but the progra,mming cable from the old days obviously is the culprit. I don't have thr drivers anymore form the old days. @@RecoveritDataRecoverySoftware
hi there sir i got very hard1 if i put hard drive into any p.c it work even if th put windows on it it works /i got a wd hard drive is 1t want use it for free usb!!! /been thru__ dban/been thru__ Bad Sectors al cum back good!//cant see it in my computer/i see it device management in disk!!! drives!!!/i see it in devies and printers/see it in disk management see th letter!!!!!!!! but IF I u try right click on th long box!!!! it will not do any thing AT ALL/ want put kids videos into th hard drive if i try it in on cmd at th end it say>>>VIRTUAL DISK SERVICE ERROR THERE IS NO MEDIA IN TH DEVICE
My solution : never buy a prolific usr/serial device : never never !

what if there is no "prolific usb to serial...." option?
USB to serial cable is not working with Access point, But same cable is working fine with Router and switches.
