There are many situations when USB drives may stop working due to unexpected errors. In this situation, you won’t be able to access the USB drive or retrieve its content at all. In general, there are two types of USB drive corruption, i.e., logical and physical corruption.
Logical corruption basically means that the USB drive has bad sectors, contains malware, or has an incorrect file system. An absolute gentleman. Would not have gotten my issue sorted without you.
I followed each step on two different laptops but it was working for me.
The Wondershare Recovery worked though... Kind of. I installed it, had it scan for my drive and that fixed it. I didn't even need to buy the product to recover the data.
Once Wondershare scanned it, the USB Drive was back appearing in my Windows Explorer. I backed the hell up out of it immediately to my external drive. Spent the last 20/30 minutes barely moving incase it stopped working.
Backed up now and that stick is being chucked in the bin. Whether or not it's been fixed or not... The Cursed thing has caused me too much grief to even look at it anymore.
It's disloyalty cannot go unpunished.

My USB was corrupted with all my 3D models and code files. This was all built up in a span of 4 years. The USB was my only hope after my laptop broke down. I tried using the commands like you did in the video, this made it accessible but deleted most of my data. Later in the video I saw the Wondershare method and I was doomed in my head because I had missed a big chance of getting my data back.

Thank you so much! The usb drive was unreachable and completely froze the file browser. Reinstalling the driver fixed the issue and all the files remained intact.
This video saved my butt. I had 25GB of PS4 Screenshots and Videos on the same Stick with Windows 98 Retrogames. Stick got corrupted on the Windows98 machine, maybe, because i just pulled it off in the middle of booting. Could not access all my PS4 savegames and screenshots anymore on Windiws 10. Thx, this helped me a lot getting an old image usb-stick with the 1 copy of that installer I had back online (luckily it was only logically damaged) :)
I use Power iso>tools>USB clean but it seems that app is not stable. It does fix the drive then I perform a recovery. Your video was no frills and presented in a professional to the point manner which works and saves time - thanks much!

I have data on my USB Drive. It has always worked but for some reason, when I plug it in windows 10 does not detect the drive. Actually if you watch carefully, it shows up for a split second then disappears. Windows states it cannot detect drive in D: All other usb drive work fine. Just this one has problems. Help?

THANK YOU!!! I had a 512g Sandisk that had locked me out (with 234 files I needed!!) and stated that I needed to 'Format Disk' before I did anything. We know that would have erased everything. Then I found you after a little search. Suddenly, there were my files back (after using the CMD option) and operating as they should. I was sweating at the possible loss of all and needed a gin. I know this is a little old but I need to fix a USB drive that I have been using Etcher to make boot disks for Linux distros. Can this be done or is the USB just trash now?

I honestly don't know Ive done all of those steps but its just not there as if there never was a USB drive, It makes a connection sound but there's nothing. I do see a little brown scratch on it tho

The chkdsk command completely ruined my drive. Now it is not detected at all an does not show up anywhere. the computer makes no sound when I connect it and it doesn't even show up in disk management. Any ideas?

Open then settings then transfer then recover already recovered or recover newly recover..

Can a device like a smartTV corrupt a video file? maybe when it’s old, i got it January 2015.
i have a new pen drive… put some MP4 vids on it. played great on the blu ray, but when i tried to play it on the TV it said the file is corrupted…
and then tried the blu ray again… wouldn’t play no more…
so went back to my computer… replaced it with new copy (from computer)
again played fine on the blu ray… but tried to TV again… same thing…
the TV USB seems to corrupt the video files…
i’d like your input on this please?

When i inserted pendrive to my phone it showed usb corrupted touch to fix
And all songs got erased in my pendrive after it's working correctly
Before i inserted the pendrive it showed a hundreds of 0 bytes bin files named stylishly
