Brilliant! And a new trick I learned today: assemble your engine in a tray... the number of M2 nuts and bolts I lost on the floor of my workshop could choke a dozen donkeys...
Looks great. I particularly like the hefty plates that make up the frame of the engine. Looks like a lot of weight behind the rear wheels, did you have to ballast the front at all?
@@tmorach No sorry, I did not make plans. I have plans for the engine I used for my steam roller and this model used a variant of it. Plans are free if you would like some.
It’s strange how the plastic for the indexing plate is the same color as the plastic used for laser safety glasses that protect your eyes. Makes you think.😅
@@myfordboy Hmm, makes sense now. So, now I’m wondering if a laser can cut through it is it just for show, or does it give you enough time to turn the laser off before burning through?
I love the indexing head, such a simple, adaptable and elegant solution. Engineer needs a hat.
it's far easier to use a spin indexer than a rotary table with index plates. So easy to make a mistake with those. How do i know that?
Looks unique and, when running, it has a certain charm. Beautifully built too. 👍👍👍 Cheers Paul
This really is a fabulous looking engine. Amazing detailed parts. Very well done. Cheers Nobby
Superb little loco 👍👍👍 I especially like the tiny little oilers on the conrod ends 👍👍👍 Cheers, Alan.

Wunderbar. Leider wird oft vergessen, dass nicht viele Menschen so eine technische Ausrüstung haben, um so etwas herzustellen.
Brilliant work!
Very nice!
you have made an amazing model congrats sir
Amazing work.
Great video
Wow. Very nice loco sir. Nice work.
wow. youre very talented
Nice work.
Love it
Where was the little operator during the speed run? did the engine take off without him?🤔
I just forgot to add the driver for the demo.
@@myfordboy lol🤣

Great video. Like me🤩😁

Yes with the narrow wheel base it needed weight added at the front.
Hello. Do you have plans of these model? Thank you.

It's part of a sheet I bought for an enclosure I made for another laser machine.

When used as eye protection the laser is not aimed at the acylic so no danger of it burning through.

Beautiful model you have realized and built. Enjoyed, thank you!
