Lovely job I was once taught that a Brick is just a boring brick but once you add many you can create a fabulous building So when I see you with a block of metal Well you do the same and create a work of art
Great video and great technique with the depth setting washers! It's a lot like a filing guide. On the cylindrical portion, I think you meant to say that you are taking 10 degree steps and then 5 degree steps to hit the peaks between. That indexing head is only capable of 1 degree steps at a minimum--oh I see someone else noticed that below. Still a great video!
Excellent work David, very well thought out. Another great use for the 3d printer. I’ve uploaded a video on the Fairfax engine. Hope you like it. Take care. Nobby

Excellent job as always 👍👍👍 I liked the idea to use different size washers to create the profile. Cheers, Alan.

You put blood into your art and spare us the tears, nice practical work, well done
Very clever using that stepped mandrel to gauge milling depths.

@@nobbysworkshop I saw your video thank you for the shout out. Your engine runs very well.
Very nice work mr Myford
Wot, no casting?😂 Still, a very casting-like result.

Thanks for sharing 👍
Nice work Mr M, but how did you get 1/2 deg. increments on your Spin Indexer?
OK, not 1/2 deg but half a full division, that is 5 deg. Full division being 10 deg.
The rattling of that lathe sounds like it's trying to tear itself apart. I may be wrong. Can you explain it? Great video by the way!
Rattle is just the change wheels.
