Your videos are awesome! Very direct and clear. I love how you point out small details and their function. Thank you for such a great channel!
The part that excites me the most about this one particularly are the rubber nubs/bristles! I have two long haired dogs or Aussies and that’s the #1 issue with all others is the hair wraps around the nylon bristles and eventually it becomes more hassle to pull out hair constantly and clean the bristles which never gets clean. This is awesome! We need all wet vacs with the rubber bristles

I have a few questions and this new shark Stain striker seems very awesome. I don’t know about … “how affordable” because of the cost of the solution. Lol though it looks like something that would really get the job done.
First question is about your stains that you use in the demonstration. I’m assuming they were fresh or at least fresher than your “average” carpet stain, so how effective would this device be on a stain that is very old?? What about in a high traffic area??? What about lighter carpet with grass stains, or grease, oil, .. or my favorite …make up!!! such a pain, especially liquid foundation
Second question would be for the suction after you’re done cleaning your area… how long or well how many times do you have to go back over area to make sure all the water is gone especially in an area that unfortunately isn’t allowed enough time to completely dry
- Kids are not the only ones to blame here!! Lol adults … pets life..
I know from personal experience that if you have to do carpet cleaning often enough that the carpet will never be the same and wonder if in the long run of things if it would be better just to replace all the carpet and the padding …because if the padding gets ruined due to too much water seeping through, it will start to mold and rot and overall, it’s just a pain
If you have the time, if you could test add a couple things for me, I would be eternally grateful and thank you for your time

Great reviews, Dad. It would be great to know your view of the Shark vs. Dirt Devil units. You seemed to like the Dirt Devil over the Bissell and the Shark over the Bissell. It seems that the Shark unit might have better designed tanks than Dirt Devil. And some have complained about the valve sticking on the Dirt Devil. I also like the simple end piece on the Shark for hose cleaning. The pet attachment could also be good for cleaning up and capturing vomit (sorry for that visual :) ).
I came to find out how to open the lid of the dirty water tank, and felt really dumb when I realized how simple it was 😅
I just bought one from QVC came with the solution and they have some in stock

Deciding if I should get this or the upright version.
Upright has attachments same as this but can also be used for full carpet cleaning. If you aren't worried about the money always get the bigger one, only things you'd have to worry about, depending on the person, is the price, and maybe the SPACE. But other than that if you have the cash, then DEFINITELY always go with the bigger one, cause most of the time the companies make these products because they're cheaper than the full sized one, so it doesn't really make sense for someone who has the budget to get the small one unless it's specifically for space purposes.

How does this machine work for cleaning car upholstery. Also do you have to put a solution in the oxygen multiplier for it to work properly as I would use it as an extractor for auto upholstery.
I really love this! Shark is the best! I would really like to see how it, and your upcoming demonstration ones will do with a spilled cup of coffee after a week or more. Like if you just put a towel to soak the coffee up and couldn't get it cleaned properly right away. Side by side with the bissell one, and the full size on same stain here, I mostly spill coffee while I am half asleep and can't get the stain up! You could use comparative solutions to see whether the cleaning power comes more from the machines or various solutions.
I’ve caught my husband asleep with a drink in his hand. I go to take it out and that’s when he wakes up 😏.

Nice review. I'm returning mine. The cleaning solution is very expensive compared to other brands. 2 bottles for $32? Nope. Bissell is only $11. I couldn't get the handle to stay on top like yours. And in the directions it says to empty out the oxy solution and fill with water when you want to rinse. I also find the water reservoir very small.
You know , you don’t have to use the same brand of cleaning solution , you can put whatever you want in the tanks to clean , it’s not going to break because you use something also that is not their brand

@@angiek.9573 hi. Can you tell me, the shark oxy bottle says that its not safe to use for wool carpets. Mine are wool with white stripes. What will happen if I use this machine on it? And does you solution actually clean?

Can this be used on microsuede sofa?
I don't have direct experience yet, but I'm here because I'm shopping for a unit to clean my microsuede sofa as well. I did a manual clean with Windex and a soft brush with just a manual rinse and results were great. But the edge of the cleaned areas had water marks because some of the dirt spread and I just did spot cleans. So now I plan to buy a proper machine and I'm certain the sofa will look great without the water rings from my first effort. I can tell you that the used sofa I cleaned was dirty enough on the arms that the suede texture was matted, dirty and even shiny. I was amazed that cleaning it while lightly brushing in all directions restored the suede. You can find videos on people cleaning absurdly dirty sofas.
So I don’t have to use shark solution if I don’t want to right? This is on clearance at my store for 70 dollars. I don’t want to be restricted to having to use shark solution. I know to use the tough stains I would use the multiplier with the deep clean
I don't think you do. It's designed most likely to use most types of solutions.
