The part about the kids growing up too fast is so true. We are expected to act mature and independent at a very young age. I'm only 15 yet I'm still stressing about my future instead of actually enjoying my time as a kid. Society puts too much expectations on us and its frustrating. We're expected to make our career choices, sacrifice our sleep for assignments and tests at a very young age. School isn't about learning anymore, it's about getting good grades and making others proud. I can only hope that this would change.

I've recently turned 19, and despite the fact that it's not for another year, I couldn't get the thought out of my head that I'm almost 20 and it freaked me out for half a day. There are times when I still feel 15 but with the responsibilities of someone much older because the last few years have gone so quickly because of the amount of school work and exams that were expected from 15-18 year olds. I've been reconnecting with some friends from a few years ago and one of them mentioned how quickly we've grown up because we were now discussing where to go for drinks when the lockdown situation is over, because UK drinking age is 18, when last time we saw each other, drinks were the last thing on our minds.

Honestly, I am a competitive cheerleading coach and I know MANY of my kids (I coach over 150) that are not allowed to have Tik Tok and we have a social media rule at the gym now. I've recently turned 19, and despite the fact that it's not for another year, I couldn't get the thought out of my head that I'm almost 20 and it freaked me out for half a day. There are times when I still feel 15 but with the responsibilities of someone much older because the last few years have gone so quickly because of the amount of school work and exams that were expected from 15-18 year olds. I've been reconnecting with some friends from a few years ago and one of them mentioned how quickly we've grown up because we were now discussing where to go for drinks when the lockdown situation is over, because UK drinking age is 18, when last time we saw each other, drinks were the last thing on our minds.

He’s not wrong. He did only ask a question. People are getting way too upset over a QUESTION. He wasn’t attacking her at all. That petition was misleading. “Attacking young girls for wearing bathing suits.” All he asked was if it was appropriate. He didn’t even mention her bathing suit! He asked if it was appropriate.
