She probably didn’t even think about the whole “comparing growing up in the hood to growing up with apes” thing because she literally thought Tarzan grew up with bears lol, but regardless the “nobody wants to be black” was pretty bad.
I fully agree about making mistakes though. She’s 17, she’s got a lot of growth ahead of her. And it was not her fault that a make up artist used a black-owned brand’s products on her or that he used slightly darker foundation (some of the photos showed an obvious difference between her neck and face). I’m not gonna say she never blackfishes, but that one example was really not her fault.

I feel like the comparaison is bad, but not racist, she is not comparing black people to monkeys, she's just talking about how the people around you and their behavior can affect yours specially when a person is young and looking for role models. I believe people got what she was trying to say, but it's more entertaining to call someone racist and sit down to watch the situation develope with a bowl of popcorn.

She grew up on the streets, made friends with people who didn't teach her well, instead provided a sort of escape from her home life which she probably associated positively and spent more time with them, and gradually adopted their accent, style, etc. Like I said, she grew up verbally, mentally and physically abused which meant that she had no voice in the house and she felt like she needed to shout to get her frustration and voice heard. So, she has a habit of constantly butting in while someone else is speaking, and having a very short temper. Now, please stop hating on her and go find something productive to do.

@@aftfte5206 of course not all italians and arabs are tan/dark. I have spanish and italian blood, and I'm very pale.
