- Shown in detail installation of a Curt trailer hitch on 2016 Dodge Challenger, same as Charger. Dropping muffler system, carriage bolts does and don'ts. it is, just make sure you purchase the correct hitch. also my challenger has drag pack option so it's lower than most
Will this hitch support a 150lb mtn bike with bumps in the roads ? I have a hellcat charger and would like a hitch
any update to this? whats the correct hitch part number? looks like a pain for what it is.. and have you towed anything yet? Wondering if the hemi 345 engine and trans can pull a small trailer and one waverunner?
Unfortunately i removed this hitch as it was too low hitting speed bumps, rear curbs when backing up etc. Like i stated was given the hitch so didn't cost me anything. Didn't want to flip full price for the hitch as i have a Dodge Dakota truck as well noticeable in my other video's. So no, never attempted to pull any trailers although 5.7 with torqueflight 8 shouldn't have any issues pulling a single waverunner although i believe owners manual states not to tow?? Part number which gives a few extra inches clearance is "CURT 13236 Class 3 Trailer Hitch, 2-Inch Receiver, Fits Select Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger, Charger , Black" from the jungle store. Make sure this is fits your year model as they differ slightly. Yes was a pain by myself, with a helper would be easier but not for the novice so please do you do diligence before attempting, why i created this video in the first place. Thanks for watching!
I made the same mistake.... I'm going to have to take the hitch off grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Can that bolt be put in going in the other direction.
